Lovely florals. There's something abut a stippled drawing that I find fascinating. Of course, your watercolor is always beautiful. I sincerely hope that you feel better soon. Do take care of yourself & get plenty of rest.

Your skill with watercolor and ink is just amazing. I love the look of stippling, so that was a real treat to watch. I've been eyeballing that book after looking at a few of Dunn's YT tutorials/tips, which were incredibly helpful. Both of you have taught me a great deal and I really appreciate it. Bronchitis can be a bear, so I hope you're able to get some rest and heal. May you have a speedy recovery!

Hi Louise! This was so interesting to watch you work in a new style and medium. I have often done Inktober but using prompts from Floralinktober (Camilla Damsbo) and Gardentober (Katrina Krouch-Blushed Design.) I skipped this year as I'm working on some larger more involved paintings. I like ink and wash and have done a number of florals in that style. Alphonso Dunn is a wonderful KZbin instructor and his books are so helpful, with easy to follow lessons. Thank you for sharing. Hope all is well.

Hope you feel better soon! I love both your drawings. I’m using Inktober this year to improve my line and wash game, with various results so far. Ah well, there’s still plenty of month left

Both rose drawings are beautiful - although I prefer the watercolour one! 😉😍 I used to do stippling before I discovered watercolour for myself (way back before the internet and with Rotring Isograph ink pens). So I do like it, too! Talking about social media, I thought it was very clever of you to highlight Alphonso's book (which I have had since it came out) right after explaining Inktober! 🤩🥰😘 Last but not least, I wish you a speedy recovery from your bronchitis! 🤗😘

Hi Louise..What kind of your Zero brush do you use? I really like your way of teaching. At the beginning of this year, as a total beginner in watercolor, I created a rose in the Pen&wash technique. I was delighted, even though the picture was not detailed, more colors than lines, pure white background. After that, I bought better quality brushes, professional watercolors (I'm still in the process of replenishing my palette). Since then I have done a lot of Urban sketching, because I love drawing and I found myself in it. Today, after watching your tutorial, I made the same rose in Pen&wash. Well, now I'm hooked. I think that I will combine the technique of the old painting with the technique of the new one...something in between. Thank you.

Didn't finish watching yet, keeping it for a quiet moment, no problem with the hoarse voice, it's just the Australian accent.... joking, joking 😅 Thanks a million for your inspiration Louise, getting my pen and ink out for October. Cheers.
