I’m a 66 year old keyboard player who made his bones during the Mahavishnu Orchestra, Weather Report. Return to Forever etc. Era in New York. I was an active working musician mostly in Atlantic City / Philadelphia market. Worked. With a lot of heavyweights. I wanted to tell you this because whenever I hear remarkably innovative and harmonically sophisticated young musician, like you guys, it gives me hope for the future of music. When I first heard “What’s in your Heart” a few years ago, it stopped me dead in my tracks. It’s great to see musicians with chops who can display what they do but still serve the song and groove. Genevieve, your voice and phrasing have so much presence and rhythmic inventiveness. Louis your chords just kill me. . I hadn’t heard you with the full band before. Yikes!!! All I know is that you impressed this old Geezer and make me feel so good when I hear you’re music. I wish you great success.
