Where is a good place to start in grand isle? I got a lease in golden meadows and wanted to try floundering down there in a couple weeks but clueless where to even start.

About how long do you think the fish could be on the stringer until they get put on ice?

Depends on the spot you gigged the fish. I’ve had some stay alive on the stringer for over an hour on the stringer and some died within 10 or 15 mins. But overall I would say a few hours at best. I’ve kept them on the stringer the whole time I was gigging for a bout 3 or 4 hours.
