We bought a meta X 34/24 for my daughter. She had it for approximately 1month. Used it only for tee work, soft toss, front toss. Had not used it in a game yet. One day doing tee work, we heard a rattling in the barrel, it sounded like something came loose inside. We sent it back to Louisville slugger claim department as per their warranty, and the claim was accepted, the bat was broken. Very disappointed that a $450 bat broke within a month and had not seen a game yet. FYI for everyone looking at thiss

I worked in Demarini and Louisville Customs two Falls/Winters past. Sometimes the weights break loose. Try sending them in for a warranty replacement. They need to improve how the weights are secured inside of the barrels. It's not uncommon with Demas and Louisville. The thinner barrels of these bats increase the pressure within the barrel - you can associate this with the trampoline(I think of it as the crushing feel when I hit) feeling when you hit. They will honor it as the time goes on. Bat companies want to improve their product, because people are investing a lot of money in these high end bats. In talking to the warranty people, we see similar issues with Prisms, Easton experiences this with Ghosts. The carbon barrels are THIN. Finding the right thickness is a constant work right now. Can you let me know if the Meta x is a light swinging bat like the dimarini cf

It’s isn’t as balanced as the CF. We find the META swings very similar to the Xeno and LXT. Has a load to it, but not as loaded/end heavy as the Ghost. We find the CF series to be the most balanced in the market.

My 9 year old has been swinging the Mantra and that thing is an ounce and a half overweight and end loaded like a Q tip with a rock on the end. This one seems much more balanced and the 30" drop 10 weighed 20.4 ounces. She put about 75 swings on it this evening and she can control it much better than the Mantra. She loves the Mantra just needs to work up to it.

Definitely by far One of the best explanations of the engineering differences behind these bats. Thank you. One question, what was different with the Xeno and/or Lxt prior to this new model/series being developed? I bought my daughter a leftover new old stock Xeno and she seems to like it. I'm impressed with it. She's 11 so we are just getting into this next level of hardware for the game. The wallet is not a happy camper 😁

Thank you for the kind words and for watching. The Xeno was designed with disc technology (2 Aluminum Discs spaced apart in the barrel) while the LXT has only one Disc and it is made from composite material.

now i cant decide on a drop 9 or a drop 10 for my 12 year old. currently has a 32/22 easton ghost(cracked). any suggestions on why a drop 9 over a drop 10(vice versa)

Swing weight is very similar to LXT. In our opinion has more Pop than LXT but too early for durability results.

LXT uses disc technology and META is double wall technology. Two completely separate technologies.

Swing weight of the Meta is about the same as the Xeno. Early indication on performance is that META X is better than Xeno. If you get an opportunity to swing it, do. Thanks for watching

I know this question is off topic. As far as the Easton Ghost line is there any info on the 2022 advanced is it the same technology makeup as the 2022 Ghost?I bought one for my daughter first words it doesn't sound the same since it uses sonic comp. Once finally broken in bat hits really well better pop than the first dual stamp. Sorry for the rambling in your opinion and what you know will there be much difference in 2022 advanced technology to validate the price point of 450 or higher if I was guessing

This bat has some load to it but not too endloaded to be used as a Slapper bat. It has a decent size barrel length as well but DeMarini bats still beat it when it comes to hitting surface.
