I couldn't bring myself to even touch the Ghost since I witnessed five of them break over the spring/summer seasons. It may be a hot bat, but it is not durable, so we went with the FNX. No complaints from my daughter, so far, and the bat has plenty of power.

nathan and Payton johnson we love the Prism. My daughter (12u A Class) swings the Prism. She went from CF9 to Zen to Prism. Prism is her favorite.

Great Video! Ours likes the Prism after being mostly a Quatro (early version) fan. Just recently we got our hands from a family friend a brand new CF-4 and a CF-5 Black (there Daugher never used them and were sitting in the closet) and she doesn't even swing anything else now. She loves the older bat feel so much more. Unfortunately I couldn't get her to have the same feelings about older music. LOL!

Bat Guru I got a good one for you I live and coach in Alaska so our season starts when temps are still pretty chilly I am looking for a bat for my daughter who is starting her Freshman year. She is an athletic line drive hitting speedster with the potential to develop some power. She loves Demarini and we have had good luck with durability. I am not wealthy but we are willing to spend for quality. She swung a 32/20 and am looking to go up to 33/22 or since she is going into high school should I look for a 34? I was thinking of either the CF or LXT. What are your thoughts?

My daughter is 11 and this is her first yr playing she played in fall ball i didnt know if she would like it so i bought her a demarini bustos. She did well and she is a very good athlete. She tried out for one of the travel teams in our area and made it. I was looking at a little bit more money but not break the bank. What are your thoughts on the carbon candy bat?? I bought that for her.

My daughter went from a DeMarini CF8 Insane, which in my personal opinion is by far the best Insane made due to durability and pop and now swings a 2020 Ghost. So far no issues with the durability of the Ghost. It’s super hot out of the wrapper. It’s def very end loaded. The -10 actually feels like a -9. If your daughter isn’t a true power hitter, you need to consider a more balanced bat. Easton def put work into the 2020. Very pleased so far.

Pat W if you are looking to keep a similar swing weight as the Ghost, I suggest the LXT. DeMarini is coming out with a Prism Plus in Feb/March that will be more end loaded than the current Prism

Thanks for the question. Out of the bats companies you mentioned above Easton (Ghost and Advanced) is the only one that had a defective rate above normal. The others of course had some breakage but not anything that was considered excessive. If durability concerns you, we are comfortable in recommending any of the performance bats from Rawlings, Louisville, DeMarini, and Mizuno

@@frankhernandez9472 great bat. It’s a very balanced bat and have had no issues with durability on this model. You should be able to find a good deal on one since it’s the 2020 model.

Yes, the Ghost swings heavier than the LXT. Next in swing weight would be Xeno, then LXT.

We have sold a few and feedback has been very good. The Adv Ghost is having some durability issues and Easton is retooling the design, so LXT is the next best performing bat with good durability.

Hello I as well as a lot of girls on my team have the LXTs. They have great pop we all really love the bats. Out of the 5 is girls on my team that have LXTs only one girl has broken the bat mildly. Keep in mind it was the 2019 so it lasted her 2 years. We are also a very competitive team being a tier 1 rep team practising around four nights a week plus games. Overall amazing bat I love it hope this helped.

BMAN they are definitely for bigger stronger kids. Their double wall alloy design makes them swing very heavy. We do feel for the amount of money you will spend, you can get a better composite bat.

I got the 2020 dual stamp when it came out in june no problems at all durability no issues. The usssa ghost does sound different than the 2020 but I will say the 2020 seems to have more pop. I picked up blue ghost for less than 200 as my daughter will be heading to highschool ball after summer travel and that thing is super hot

Hello, I have the pwr carbon for almost 2 years now and it’s a good bat. although there is very very small scratches/cracks along the surface but def nothing major. It is a good bat but I definitely did not have my best hitting season with it. I still just that bat but I have now switched to the LXT

William Uptgraft from what we hear the most older single Stamp Ghost May perform better than the Dual Stamp, but keep in mind if you are playing both USSSA and ASA you would need to buy both the Gold and the Blue (still may find two cheaper than one 2020).

The drop 9 and drop 10 ghost are end loaded and the drop 11 is balanced. So the ghost could be in both categories. The LXT is an ultra balance bat has no end load. More research would be better before putting out videos on reviews. These reviews aren’t very factual.

The LXT also has a load to it (has 2 discs in the barrel which adds weight to the end, but is not marketed as end loaded. Doesn’t have to be labeled as end loaded to have an end loaded swing weight. Not only is the ghost not the best bat but it's not even a good one. Unless you are rich and you can afford to buy two of them a year so that you can have four of them in order to get through spring and fall seasons. They break way too easy. Some people do have good luck with durability but they are the exception not the rule.

Cat 5 this year meaning 2021? If so, they won’t have Xeno for 2021. If you are talking about the 2020 models, we think the Xeno is the better of the two from what we have seen.
