"... the cool sound of Miles gave shape and form to my grief thousands of miles from home. (...) it is odd how grief, stark landscape, falling snow, and a mournful trumpet solo could seem a blessing that created beauty... " (Christmas Alone 1992 - Michael L. Newell) today is December 19, 2017. I wish you all a Merry Christmas.

Este disco en especial me transporta a los años en que se gravo, a ese imaginario del JAZZ que he cultivado a lo largo de mi vida.

This is very cool ... I worked hours in relax on this chair (eventhough my significant is struggling me) ... My bottom is glued on the chair and If I could watch it, I'm sure it would be like an ape's one.

At the time of Summertime, Miles Davis was experimenting with new sounds, and developed modal jazz. He used his trumped as a way to emulate the sound of human voice by cutting out vibrato, that turned his jazz into a smoother and emotional form of music. The father of jazz fusion and cool jazz. One of the few prophet of jazz.

nice post but the editing-mixing is jarring - cutting off songs before they end... for example bye bye blackbird. kind of messes up the mood.
