This is the first video I’ve seen from any style/decluttering/minimalism/capsule wardrobe vlogger to actually consider the differences & overlaps between pure loungewear, casual errand outfits, fitness wear & practical wear. Thank you for making me feel normal.

I totally agree about crew neck T-shirts. I have so many women's ones and they all scoop too low, even organic ones.Well, two days ago I went to Hanna Andersson (a USA children's store) and because I am petite and thin, found boy's white undershirts of the best quality organic cotton. I bought the Large, and they fit me better than my H&M woman's XS organic cotton ones.

I bought some loungewear bottoms in 2009 from Gap and I am wearing them right now, in 10 years they haven't altered in quality, they are soft, kept shape, and no thinning or bobbling! (They now have a few holes in from my 5 cats clawing at the washing) but I am amazed at the quality and wonder if I purchase some similar today wether they will last 10 years..

I started using a crystal stone for the armpits sweat. It's a stone of minerals that I put some water on and then use. It doesn't have almost any smell just a light touch of something like flower alike. Bought from a store of nature stuff in Estonia.

Great video! ... for pit stains on a white shirt I just put straight up bleach in a spray bottle and spray the stains. Then rub it in and launder as usual. Always does the trick! As for preventing it, lately I’ve been having success with dabbing baby powder on my pits after I’ve let the deodorant dry. It’s a little messy at first but has made a huge difference. I’m sure other powders would help if you know of more natural ones you’d rather try!

Ive used this for 20+ years and love it. A stick lasts forever and i dont need to reapply except after i shower. Can go fpr days without reapplying. Also works for stinky feet. Have you tried good old baking soda as deodorant? I switched my traditional deodorant to baking soda mixed with a bit of non GMO corn starch a few years ago and I’ve been happy ever since, I do Ashtanga Yoga and sweat quite a lot during my practice which is in a heated room and I’ve never experienced any weird odors even a few hours after. And of course, it doesn’t stain my white tees 😊

Hi! Thanks for your videos! I used to have the yellow pit stain issue, but I learned that it is caused by the chemical reaction from anti-perspirant. I'm using Native Deodorant now. Doesn't help with the sweat, but there is no smell. I've noticed that I don't really sweat that much anymore - not sure if my body has adjusted or if it's just my imagination, BUT! I'm not ruining my clothes with yellow pit stains!

I don't ever wear cute loungewear around the house because I'm always in the kitchen cooking or cleaning something :( Is it only my perspective that I use old, worn-out clothes so that I don't have to mess new clothing? If you're looking for some sustainable deodrat options, have a look at the brand called LivingLibations and their underarm charm cream deodorants! Works well and doesn't leave yellow patches (although, it's made of natural oil and it might color clothes but it washes easily in regular wash).

I hope this helps with your deodorant dilema. I transitioned to natural products and I had the same problem, no deodorant worked for me. I researched for reviews on youtube and I found out that it takes our body around three months to get rid of all the chemicals in our armpits. Most deodorants don't let our skin breathe and so when we try natural ones that only kill the bacteria that produces bad smells but lets our skin perspirate it takes a while for our body to get rid of all the clogged stuff in our pores. I stuck it out and now, even though I sweat, it doesn't give a bad smell at all. I used to have the same stain problems and I find that natural fibers stain less and the stains are easier to remove. I hope it helps :)

I stopped wearing deodorant after being on a prescription strength for years and it’s been 8 years now and honestly I no longer am sweaty like I was! I think deodorant was actually making it worse. If I feel like I need a little something I use a lavender essential oil and organic alcohol mix to spray on my underarms.

The perfect all natural remedy for pit stains is mix one part hydrogen peroxide one part dish soap with two parts water in a spray bottle. Spray on pit stains. Using a toothbrush, rub over the solution with a little baking soda..let sit for a couple hours and wash on hot. Pit stains are gone I promise! Works on colors as well

yes, yellow-pit stains - the bane of any sustainable fashionista. Sadly, I've ruined plenty of great shirts with yellow-to-brownish stains but not anymore - I stopped wearing deodorant about 8 years ago and my body naturally produces less sweat in the pits now but perhaps the most prominent change was changing my diet to 100% whole foods plant-based, i think it has change the chemical make-up and sweat output of my pits, don't get me wrong, I still sweat like a man but not more yellow or brown pit stains, I've been able to keep wearing my white t-shirts and button downs for years now. Also I used to not be able to wear sleeveless shirts because my pits would be like water-falls but I can enjoy wearing sleeveless shirts now - I'm not trying turn you plant-based, just sharing surprisingly positive observations among many other amazing transformations

Hi Signe, Regarding your armpit sweat/odor concerns, something to think about is to address more of the root cause vs covering up the odor. Two options that I came across and am considering myself (still need to do some more research): 1. Using magnesium supplements and magnesium oil to decrease/eliminate armpit odor. Most of us are deficient in this anyways. You may have to be careful with the amount of Mg oil you apply (at least at first) because some people's skin are more sensitive than others. This website is a good start on the topic: www.cheeseslave.com/how-i-quit-using-deodorant-with-magnesium/ 2. Another option, more costly, but non-invasive and permanent, is a procedure called miraDry. It uses thermal energy to specifically target and eliminate sweat glands, so you stop producing sweat. It would not affect the rest of your body from producing sweat, just the armpits. It looks much like having laser hair removal. There are a couple locations in Denmark: www.miradry.com Also, in trying many different natural deodorants myself, I've noticed that not all base ingredients work the same, by that I mean ingredients such as coconut oil, shea butter, arrowroot, etc as the first listed ingredients. In my experience, the base ingredient that works best for me and my husband has been dead sea salt, especially as the first ingredient. The only one I have found so far in the USA is Bold | Mint by Lone Deordorant. It does not have arrowroot to absorb sweat like some deodorants which I would prefer, but my husband has bad reactions to baking soda and arrowroot/corn starch on his skin. And unrelated to this, if you are interested in sustainable, comfy, stylish, and "ergonomically" correct shoes, if you haven't already, check out the brand Vivobarefoot. Some styles are hit or miss, but the vast majority are great. These are the only shoes I buy even though my feet are super flat! They ship worldwide now. Thanks for your content. It has really helped me curate a wardrobe of my own and to have fun doing it.
