Re switching out a streamdeck for this - you most definitely won't be able to do that. It doesn't launch apps (says it can, but doesn't) - I have setup some automations using osx automator and those can't be triggered either... there's no way to tap into lighting control, or any streaming software... it's sad, but it's definitely not a stream deck. :(

I literally just started using it.. I bought it cpl years ago and it was just sitting in the box brand new so i just opened it up right now and want to implement it into my workflow and its insane how crazy difficult it is to adjust. That clock wont dissapear from the wheel and every time I close the clock the settings change and when I hit the clock, the timer comes up and I have to close it but the settings switch up/off again and its back and forth. I mean its crazy in how difficult it seems so im looking up videos to see how to overcome this after I had a huge problem first not being able to turn it on cause it was just the power button was lit blue for a few seconds and went off and no matter what I press it just wouldnt do anything or be recognized by the computer and program so I read on your site to do this and that and guess what, it was the VPN... I mean, insane! This thing can drive you crazy.

I mapped a midi controller and it works fine in resolve even without using their sdk. also: what about the affinity photo/designer/publisher apps? blender? fusion? :) I ordered one already, but it does not officially support a single app I use yet.

Hi there, Please open the Setup app and choose the System / Windows in the Applications list. Then highlight the main wheel and add a new one with the Plus sign in the right column. Then in the left column, search for Volume (make sure the Rotation tab is selected) and drag and drop the Volume on the Main wheel. Hi there, the UI has changed quite a lot since the release of this video. If you want to export profiles in the new UI, navigate to the profiles drop-down menu, and click on the three dots next to the desired application. This will open a list of all your profiles for the said application, and now you can click on the three dots next to the profile to export it.

You can use Loupedeck CT and Live with any application by creating a custom profile, where you map keyboard shortcut and mouse commands to the console. So if the application that you would use to control these smart items has keyboard shortcut commands, you can use those on the Loupedeck!

My ct arrived yesterday and will return to sender tomorrow. The firmware update doesn’t work (0.0.8 delivery to 0.1.73 automatic request). Support cannot help, says: „we know, that it sometimes takes several attempts to get the deck started. Try to ....“. No, I am very disappointed, after such a nice feeling when opening the box. The developers still have definitely to do a lot of work to fix problems and make the hardware and software better.

You can find our Capture One -profile in the Loupedeck application, more info about the integration here: support.loupedeck.com/capture-one-beta-integration. The easiest way to access the full list of ready-made actions for Loupedeck CT and Live is to create a new default profile. We also made a KZbin tutorial a year ago: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mZqYeWNjeLCAfLc. However, our software has since evolved quite a lot so it looks and works a bit differently now.

just received the CT for FCPX and love it! For the life of me though, after watch all the videos I could find and scanning the manual, I can't figure out how to navigate from the timeline window to the browser window so I can select favorites etc and drop on storyline. Also, if I have multiple layers in my storyline, how do I navigate up and down? And into the effects, titles, transitions, generators panels?

We have not predefined this like in earlier LD+ default but you can assign it to any button with press function. Actions are called e.g. Go To Timeline

Adobe Premiere stopped working with my Loupedeck CT. My other Adobe programs still work with it, but for some reason AP doesn't. I tried restarting my computer, reinstalling the software, redid the device control in AP, but nothing worked. Any tips?

Black Magic is NOT going to add support for this product. they offer their own hardware similar to this. which is the only thing that sets you apart from the free version of Resolve. the pro version supports their hardware board. so why would they add support for this? so people can NOT want to buy their hardware? at least this thing is cheaper then the Resolve hardware. but still WAY over priced. you can't watch a single review of this product without noticing the comments of EVERYONE complaining how they would buy this if it was cheaper. $550 is ridiculous. at a maximum this product should be $199. they would sell like hotcakes. sadly there is far more people who would love to have this then there is actual people buying it. Loupedeck knows this too.

Sooo can I program buttons to macros, claw key style shortcuts, or open a autohotkey macro? Being a producer who works in the audio rhelm I would have bought two of these at launch if it had any Pro Tools support... So far it looks like Stream Deck is a less ideal but more functional solution. Super limited support of software and beautiful hardware...

@@Loupedeck Hey there thanks for the reply - I doubt you can do anything - it's how LR processes Fuji RAW files - I do mine in Fuji XAcquire and then swap across to LR/PS etc- if you don't do this you have to spend a lot of time fixing all sorts of sharpness issues and wotnot to get the best out of them. And even more prominent with GFX files. I occasionally use Capture One - but regardless of all that you make incredible products which simplify the process so much, and they look cool and they are easy to use. Fuji should let the leash out a bit more on their proprietary systems as others do then perhaps these issues would not occur - have a super day

I can understand why they may be reluctant, but I can't justify the price of Loupedeck strictly for my use with Premiere Pro. Many people have abandoned Premiere for editing video within Resolve, so I hope you are able to connect with that market. Good luck!

@@Loupedeck a step by step approach, specifically aimed at one application (say, Lightroom) and not a whirlwind rush through. Make a use case, explain the startup procedure and configuration steps after explaining what's already defined and what it can do. Also, revise the videos that are already out there (in your name..) which don't reflect the current software. Also, I'd like to be notified if there is a new software release, which solved a few problems in my case. You actually have a really good quality hardware product, with arguably good software, it's not the simplest to use, but it's a complex area, you just need to make a series of tutorials that explain correctly how to use it efficiently. I speak as a software product owner..
