I really do wish I had a trainer/mentor for Tekken. I just be clueless on some of the stuff people talk about from a technical perspective. You make it look easy. My knowledge just isn't there and I don't know how to discover what i don't know.

To be honest it’s a lot i don’t know as well cuz there is just so much vast knowledge. PhiDx is a good channel for technical explanations, I’m still new enough to Tekken that i don’t have everything knowledge although i know a decent amount of stuff

@@Shaomillian9024 of course he actually required execution to be able to get the damage without execution you were limited to like 54 damage

@@LouStreets not only does dss require nothing anyone can do it. It was once something rewarding it took days to master the dss timing now it’s just brain dead. Also with heat now hit comfirable 10f ch launcher is crazy, minus 13 low ch launcher with nunchucks leads to over 100 damage , wall set up is brain dead with stomp damage is crazy , law has always excelled in bad connections , good tracking I’m not saying law players aren’t good because I’ve def faced some really good laws but most law players aren’t good at tekken they are good with law and that’s why he underperforms in tournaments beside Ninja Killa he’s a robot and he uses laws full potential but 9/10 law players are scrubby and lack fundamentals. Just my opinion especially playing against Law in 7 where players had to actually learn the character vs now you can skip the mastery and mash buttons.

I played him in 7 and i had this same gripe when i learned it was just hold forward now, but with the heat system and other things like that i fully get why the change was made. If he had the OG inputs while dealing with some of the stuff you have to in this game he would damn near be impossible to not rage play with lol
