I have both. I favor the MT2C for the obvious reasons ie larger battery, longer run time, etc. But the other reason is that the MT2C stays cooler than the MT1C. Both are still great tools and have their place. I have a personal collection of Nitecore lights numbering over 32 at present. I find the Nitecore my favorite brand of tactical, long running and long lasting lights.

Would gladly to have both, but MT1C Pro will always be the priority since it packed with a suffice brightness and juice for my daily plant maintenance check routine. What I love the most is the type c port battery, where I find it convenient as I can charge the spare on the run. And of course the petit size is one of the selling point here aswell, as I'm not into a bulky EDC. Thought it would be a great pair to have it with my Helikon Tex Possum. While MT2C Pro best use for a weekend camping with family and friends.

I am in need of a small flashlight for my child who attends an art class across the road, approximately 200 meters from our home. She is passionate about art and insists on attending the class even after school hours, which usually ends between 7:30 pm and 8:00 pm when it's dark. She often walks home by herself. A small flashlight would serve not only to light her path but also as a safety tool to signal her presence to others, including drivers. In the event of an encounter with hostile strangers, a powerful light could also act as a means of defense. While our neighborhood is generally safe, it's wise to be prepared for unforeseen circumstances. Although the two models here are professional-grade, I believe they would be suitable for everyday use by anyone. I am happy to get one of these for her and another is for another person who needs the flashlight.

I have been on the hunt for an new edc light now for a while. For all the reasons you mentioned in the video, the over engineering of the lights often is the main downfall to the lights. But I can comfortably say that I found the light that I have been looking for. As a security officer, you need to know what your equipment will do at all times, making the Mt2c absolutely perfect for only having 2 brightness settings and the light always turning on in the brightest setting. The fact that the batteries are removable also makes the light amazing for longer shifts. I really hope for winning the MT2C as it would really be perfect for all my needs. Thank you for always bringing great and honest content.

The nice thing about the Acebeam Terminator M2-X is that you can have spotlight and flood on at the same time to help with that spill issue. It is always great to have both as an option and Wurkkos headlights HD50 and HD15 have that too whereas my old favorite Fenix HM71R can only do one or the other and the Perun 3 is flood only.

The MT1C & 2C Pro are both some of my favourite EDC lights currently. One button controls & alot of power for the compact size, great to carry in the pocket. Personally I like the 2C best, as it's only slightly bigger while having a substantial bump in performance & runtime. These new releases from Nitecore have been excellent.

I would get both, MT1C Pro would never leave my pocket since it has a type-c port on the battery, I could charge it almost anytime/anywhere, same goes with the MT2C Pro but it would be on my bag most of the time. I have bought a lot of nitecore flashlights as photo props for my products. Just hard to find one that does it all. For me I've found that it comes down to finding the right flashlight for the right gear which in turn the gear will be grabbed for the right task. I recently got the EDC25 and impressed by the form factor and output but the battery is less than ideal. My P20ix lasts longer and much better output but form factor isn't as fun to carry. So I just want quality and do well for what it's primary focus is for. Keep it simple because you'll always need to buy different styles for different use cases.

Hmm..ok now I'm eyeing for the MT2C Pro instead of the MH12 Pro because of the size and weight of it. I'm always a fan of fist grip, tail switch and simple UIs flashlight, no complex operations for simple practical use, MT2C Pro would be great for me to carry everyday to do quick patrol inspection at the workplace warehouse during night shifts, with beam distance that far rather than carrying a bulky, bigger battery and big head just to get a further beam distance is unnecessary for me. This is small, lighter, compact, simplest UI, new upgraded UHi LED! AND removable battery! Man, this is perfect flashlight for my job scope. That's a win of a flashlight in my opinion. My EDC25 is doing its job great so far, only downside of it is the built-in battery but when I think of it, EDC25(3000lm) + MT2C Pro(1800lm) = hands down perfect! Winning this model would be a great opportunity. Nitecore knows exactly what the customers need, kudos! 🤌
