"SAVED TO SERVE" ... Such a beautiful example set by the mother-in-law of Peter, who on being healed by our Lord, promptly served Jesus and all who visited her. Let us, in all humility, follow her example and reach out to people who are in need of us, for it is in serving, even from our meagerness, that we receive blessings manifold. Hello Fr. JESUS'S public ministry is on in Galilee n wonderful miracles. JESUS cured Simon's mother-in-law from feaver, she got up cooked n served so many gathered around her house to hear JESUS'S preaching n healing from all kinds of sickness, we don't know her name, (true service is nameless n true service is boundless) Our Church is CHRIST'S MISTICAL BODY n CHURCH is OUR MOTHER. We pray LORD, give us the will power to participate in what ever work the CHURCH needs our help. Great indeed are your works O LORD. I will sing the mercies n praise u LORD. AMEN, AMEN n AMEN. True service is indeed nameless and boundless and I pray for myself and my family and friends to reach out in service in whatever way we can every day. Please pray for my sister-in-law who has been diagnosed with Alzeimer's last month. My brother passed away 10 years ago and she is devastated by the diagnosis. Today's reading reflect that God would have known the greatness in Simon Peter's mil. She must have had a wonderful daughter to be the wife of Simon Peter who left all at sea and followed Jesus at a simple call.
