I agree about “people look much older” I have 2 possible explanations First, they lied about their age with no fact checking on part of show! Second, way they dressed, make up and hair especially for women, made 30 year old back then look like 50 today!

My Mom and I used to watch this in the 80’s. She always thought Chuck was a good looking gentleman. Watching it now I realize she was correct. Chuck is the perfect host! So much charm and personality!

First, you don’t need a “special rule” to not be willing to date or mess around with your kid’s boyfriend or girlfriend. That would seem to be a minimum standard of being a halfway decent human being. Second, if your child’s significant other comes on to you, you don’t have a talk with them and tell them not to do it again. You make sure that your kid ends that relationship instantly. Anyone who would make a move on their girlfriend’s mom is a psychopath. Last, if she is only 41, then her daughter is probably 19 or 20. If a boyfriend to your 19 or 20-year-old is coming on to you, that makes the person even more insane.
