Unfortunately, the sista hood is totally opposite of what she stands for. She's on a man's side, on what we've been saying that she's ACTUALLY sayin'! She's a sista hood ALL ON HER OWN! I've said this EXACT thing she's been talkin' about for years! I call it the "repeat, reinforce" method, meanin' if you keep hearin' the same things, you'll start believin' it, and it's PUSHED, so it's never forgotten.

@@LovelyVibrationsRespectfully, she's given a lot of solutions with the things she was saying. Listen with the intent to understand and not just hear what's being said thus missing the point. Women need to take accountability for the poor decisions they make and the constant excuses women make for one another! Women need to self evaluate in order to be better within thus being able to make better decisions. Women need to take a step back and view the repetitive history of other women before them and change the narrative. It starts within. Seek counseling, surround yourself with more positive people, go to church, seek God, read inspirational books etc. And when I say you, I do not mean you personally as I do not know you and your history. Essentially, women are their own downfall and those surrounding them condone their behavior thus nobody is being held accountable and no change is made. Its easier to follow then to stand alone and become a leader!

My parents are still together as well as my maternal grandparents so I know what it’s like growing up with a father figure in the house. When me and my daughters dad split I knew the importance of having him in her life although I couldn’t stand him… I didn’t let what happened with us get in between her relationship with her dad. But I still got called bitter when I would drive her myself from Texas to Georgia every summer to spend the summer with her dad and didn’t get a dime from him to help get her there not was he paying child support or providing financially… a bitter woman wouldn’t do that but I knew the importance of her relationship with her dad

This type of conversation is what our people need. Respect. Suggestion: Multiple people talking at one time makes it hard to hear and catch the message. Women start wars. Yes; whether it be out of jealousy, lust, anger, manipulation, uncontrolled emotions, etc. Men do this as well. What’s inside will come out. We all have to do better because this generation coming up are struggling and some have no guidance. And, yes, even from our elders we’re lacking some of the guidance needed.

I think with Love being the guest, she should be afforded the opportunity to finish her own thoughts or statements and then if the other female is agreeing with what is being stated, then once Love completely finishes her thoughts then she can speak and say that she agrees and if she wants to add to Loves thoughts then that is fine!

Just popped up in my feed. Don't know her but I think she deserves a standing ovation. Couldn't help it but finish the entire video. She is taking the community back to what is truly significant. To help in building a wholesome and thriving community, messages like hers need to go viral.

We gotta stop supporting people who are creating broken homes. If you don't want marriage, don't have children. That should be a message for both men and women. We can't have safe communities without both parents in the home.

You know what...I can die now...as an older black man and a Real G its so refreshing to hear younger folks speaking on point about these issues...So wonderful....And I came up in that same household and my loving father had to get away from her he was like Muhammad Ali as a provider and my mother had to be the man and wasnt satisfied until we was on welfare and hungry...Love Love Dorsey...

First, I love, love Dorsey, she always keeps it 100! That being said, the only issue I have with this whole conversation is the N word usage. As she mentioned about psychological conditioning, we should be hip to how that word plays into effect. Black MEN are NOT ni**as. Black women are NOT bi***es. Words are powerful.

I really like seeing a black American woman agreeing to facts and statistics, but also giving solutions to the problems in the culture which affects the future. I pray that more women and men will listen and change the direction of their lives for their benefit and the benefit of society as a whole.

The evolution within our communities stared to drastically decline in the late 80's to be real. Young children back in the day had to respect their elders...point blank. Keep your place as a child. It's all about choices. The standards of the past no longer apply today. In the black community we no longer respect one another's TRUE ESSENCE in respect to God's gifts given to men and woman. Emotions and feelings are not the same. Yet, they are both important and should be respected. Great Topic! Glad to see and hear us discussing these issues.

1:23 real spill omg I’m so glad you said this. Everything 💯💯 that’s why I STAND on making sure my daughter and her father have a strong relationship. He is very hands on and that’s how you build strong young ladies who just might know the basics of how to change a tire & etc but at the same time will allow a man to lead whom would take control. Having that balance is so important. God didn’t give us a mom AND dad for no reason❤

From the age of 6 my dad moved out and until 32 we had no relationship. He died when I was 42, for 10yrs he was my best friend and a lot of issues I would present to him and how I was gone handle it he would always give me a more calmer subtle way to handle things. I realized then I was missing that for 26yrs

Like Erykah Badu said “Pick your friends like you pick your fruit.” Love has some good points your mindset has to change . Your thinking process has to change especially in the relationships you trying to build with others. I’ve always been an old soul so my thinking process as a woman is different than my generation. Like Ms. Love stated as you grow and age you become wiser in the relationships you chose . This is a fact. You also become more aware of the company you chose to keep. If someone wants to pull up a seat at your table , you should be able to clearly identify what they bring to the table and their purpose at the table .
