Remember "if we follow the rules there will be no fun" (I can't remember the sentence well right now). Something appealing. Pamir has never had the need to find a job. He spent his entire life studying. So money always had and now that his wealthy father died wouldn't be different being the only child to inherit. Pamir's money won't come from any business activity so what? Omer rejected his grandfather's money and heritage, went to live with Sadri, went to study to Italy, came back set a firm together with Sinan and has success. Money is not an issue between them. You insist on jealousy... I don't.

But achievement wise, Pamir has nothing to show for in terms of owning a successful business whose product is known worldwide, Omer’s craft is equally known worldwide. Pamir achievement - having finished masters in whatever. But he didn’t use them to better himself. If Omer accepted his grandfather’s offer, he’d be wealthier tha Pamir. He demand to run all his g/father’s business & practically own them all. In terms of love life, Pamir fell in love with the “woman” of his father. She’s not somebody he can be proud of. I’m sure back in London, all Pamir’s acquaintances know the story.

Defne has NO reason at all to be jealous of Feryal. If Feryal is really after Omer, she’d know & see. Is the other reason of Defne to be there at the party to make o er jealous? But for what when she herself has been telling Pamir, Omer & even Seda, that she & Omer are NOT together. A man with no patience, even if he loves Defne, would have dropped her like a hot potato already. That’s why Oner told Defne to decide on what they really are to each other.

When it comes to Pamir, she is not naive. She sees nothing more in Pamir than a manager, colleague and cousin of Omer. When Omer told her to stop that thing with Pamir, she asked him what kind of thing he was talking about. They were interrupted by Sinan, otherwise he would have heard from her that he was seeing ghosts. She agreed to Pamir's bet because she knew Omer and knew that Omer would not plagiarize. And Pamir hasn't tried to hit on her yet. So I don't understand why people keep saying she's naive. Now that Pamir also knows about her past with Omer and that Omer himself told him, she doesn't mind talking to Pamir about Omer.

I love Defne's expression on the face when Pamir was trying to distract her with London trip conversation. He never paid attention to her, because he was so sure of himself. He was so self observed with his nonsense that he totally misunderstood Defne and her feelings toward Omer. For him it was only game at that moment.

Is she though? She couldn't keep her anger longer than 1 episode and became soft as soon as he came closer to her. Season 2 isn't much different in that respect. Omer still gets to have things his way. He gets to know Defne still loves him very soon and isn't afraid of losing her either. There wouldn't have been any jealousy either if Pamir was not present. After that kiss, Omer doesn't see him as a threat anymore. He can build a shameless life in Rome to forget his loneliness but will not tolerate any man near Defne. He never has to struggle / suffer to get what he wants. It's always served to him on a plate.

Even if misunderstanding drifts him apart from his beloved, only his woman will live in his heart. This is what Defne did, unlike Omer. It doesn't matter if his one night stands meant nothing to Omer, the fact that he continuously cheated behind her back when he considered her the love of his life is disgusting.

Unlike some of the views, I believe the separation was for the best for both of them. Defne is more confident and able to make her own decisions, unlike in season one her life revolved around Omer, what he's doing, who he is with, what he's eating, his feelings came first etc. I love season two because they only had to deal with Pamir (and we all knew that was a no win for him) as oppose to seson one, there's Neriman. Yasemin, Sude, Iz, Fikret, Feryal, all conspiring to hurt Defne. Remember in season one after Omer went out drinking with Iz, he wanted Defne to spend the night with him, she refused and went home. I loved that scene!😊

I agree that Defne and Omer’s personal growth wouldn’t have happened without the separation. For sure season 2 without all the female groupies drooling over Omer and the trouble makers Neriman and Sude was a lot better for Defne and more enjoyable to watch. As attractive as Defne is, I am surprised that the writers didn’t give Defne more male suitors to balance things out between Omer and Defne’s relationship. Omer was so jealous of Selim and Pamir. Could you imagine if they had added Deniz to the mix, especially before she knew who he was.

Yasmin just about sat on Omer’s shoulder lap and when she could she took the opportunity to touch him. Iz felt entitled as a former girlfriend despite them being friends from high school. Fikret initially acted like butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth, but when the opportunity arose she moved in on Omer. That was soo nice to see Omer let her know that Defne was the women he loved and wanted to be with.

Perhaps to portray that Pamir seemingly had more money and resources? We know Omer has money, but they wanted to show that Defne could possibly be swept off her feet by someone similar to Omer. But obviously she only had eyes for Omer-bey. I also think they portrayed Pamir as always getting what he wants. He does what he wants, is carefree, and gets any woman he wants. So of course he’d be able to find a rare book with likely just a phone call. But he was knocked off his pedestal when he couldn’t even attract the likes of Defne.😅

Is it the translations or has the writers made Defne such a weak character at 1:19:50, but I hate the fact that Omer is so controlling over Defne. Do this so that, be with me... Dude you left the girl and went on to live your life. You cannot just gallop back and expect Dephne to just be so normal and forgiving with you.

I actually think that Omer can and should have expected to ride back into Defne's life after just ONE year and they pick up right where they left off. Especially since she was not with someone else. In reality people separate for years and make back up in a flash ...... old firesticks. Leading up to their marriage they were so much in love with each other, became very attached, had given their body & soul to each other and had built such a strong connection which could not or would not have been shaken in the year if what they felt for each other was genuine and true. True love forgives .... it does not reproach or bear grudges. Defne actually admitted that she had forgiven him on sight snd that she was still very much in love with him. She is hesitant because she is mostly afraid of her family's reaction to her going back to Omer.

The last thing she did with his grandfather when he took off the rings and she left the job and went back to Manisa, it appeared as if that was it because he was so cold toward her. He eventually forgave, went to find her and they became even stronger. He never forgave Iz because he never fell in love with her. There relationship was clearly high-school boyfried/ girlfriend stuff. Only Iz didnt seem to understand that.
