I have watched this series a zillion times learn new things every time. One thing I always thought about Omer was he was a one woman man. He always had women falling at his feet, but not Defne, her eyes drew him from the beginning. When he gives his heart to a woman that's it, no one else would ever get it. Defne is the same even though she never thought she would fall in love, but they both did to each other. In spite of the break ups, separations, etc they never quit loving each other. That's rare in my experience and these 2 actors played it so good. If you know anything about them ask yourself why? There's a very good reason I have watched this series so much, even with the bad writing in some episodes, but I will let you ladies figure it out. 🤭😛😉

I was teary-eyed listening to Omer telling Iso that he CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT Defne, that the VOID LEFT WITHOUT her would be DEVASTATING! That’s the kind of love that only a few have the luck to GIVE & to RECEIVE. If Omer’s love for Defne is just the kind where after sometime he’d get over her & move on especially he was in another country, he WOULD NOT HAVE COME BACK HOME & UNABASHEDLY PURSUE Defne, threatening verbally and/or otherwise those who would be hindrance to his plan. He was determined to WIN BACK Defne, especially when he discovered the “proof” that she still loves him. Whatever verbal “abuses”, denials that Defne threw at Omar are nothing to him. She’s “JUST BEING Defne”, he’s used to them. He’s still the MASTER of COOL - except that car blockade incident. And WON HER BACK HE DID! As I write this comment I ask myself WHY I’m so emotionally invested in this series. It’s been a decade when this was aired, yet you’ll read comments where viewers watched it for 5-10+ times already. KIRALIK ASK is not written really that well. I think the reasons for WHY the viewers’ reaction is such is: 1)ALL CAST members DID SUPERB acting in their role; 2) KA is NOT just ONE genre, it’s romcom, drama, & a little bit of the rest; 3) injected CULTURE in the series - family relationships, food, customs, traditions, travails of people in the 3 economic strata of society, businesses & all its ups & downs, the people in them. Now I’m enjoying Turkish songs from KA which I get to sing in Turkish - got an ear for music & have no problem with pronouncing Turkish words. Unconsciously I would mouth off words like “git”, “Anne” “Abi”. I’ll be cooking dolmades one day

Una conversación, un diálogo, un intercambio de palabras...entre dos tremendos tipos como son Ömer e Iso, cada uno dispuesto a hablar bebiendo un trago, cuando el tema a tratar es la mujer que Ömer tanto ama y que Iso tanto aprecia. Ahora Ömer también sabrá todo aquello que vivió Defne con su partida, con su abandono, también Iso está enterándose de primera fuente lo mal que Ömer lo pasó, porque dejaba atrás todo aquello en lo que creía y que todo se había desmoronado. Ive started the compilation entitled “Omer workaholic…” When I get “bored” with this I switch to another compilations, Omer & Defne Office Diaries which are numbered. They’re both snippets of the best scenes, with titles at that. I think fans would go on watching KA & anything, even repeats of scenes, years from now. It’s almost 10 years this summer since it first came out & almost 8 years after its last run. Fans are still viewing it. I this there’s NO OTHER series like KA where it’s being viewed this LONg!

Omer & Pamir are almost of the same height. But Omer looks taller because of the way he carries himself, like he “OWNS the world & everything/everyone” in it. When he looks around it seems like he “SURVEYS” his properties. Pamir, CAN’T IMITATE such Omer’s stance(bearing, attitude, posture). When they’re beside each other, esp when standing, Pamir seems to shrink. Pamir’s clothes looks to be always slightly crumpled while Omer’s always look fresh from the dry cleaner.

My husband does that to me. He said he has a “healing hand”. I’m not that believer in such thing but I’ve experienced it first hand when my husband put his “healing hand” where my pain was. I felt a different kind of “warmth” & really the pain eased up. Some might say “ It’s all in the mind.” or “ Of course you’ll feel warm because of the blood flowing in the body of the other person & yours, too.” But whatever….
