Man. Steve Martin never ceases to amaze me. The guy has talent poring from every cell of his being!

I saw Steve and the Steep Canyon Rangers in 2014 at the Paul Masson Winery in Saratoga, CA. My sister's friend worked as an usher and when 4 people didn't show up, she let us sit in their FRONT ROW seats!! Great show and it was so cool to see Steve up close. I've also seen him twice doing his comedy act in '76 and '79. :D

Love it Steve. You do a great job. Have been a fan ever since your early days. So glad to see you making great music. By the way, Leo loves it when you call his show.

Steve Martin has put a good group of musicians together, and they produce a great sound....especially with Edie Brickell as the voice.

Steep Canyon was a group before they met Steve. They decided to collaborate mutually. They are great in their own right and Steve is a great addition.

Until I saw this, Bluegrass type music wasn't something I really wanted to listen to. This is excellent, and I love Edie's voice! It's unfortunate that the appetite for excellence is quite limited in this country.
@roytee31273 жыл бұрын
To put a fine point on it -- this is more "old-timey" style, which predated bluegrass. "Pretty Little One " is bluegrass - a lot more rhythmic.

What a great band! Every member is great. It’s probably the suit he’s wearing and the glasses but I can’t help think of Jack Benny when I watch the fiddle player. For the record, Benny was actually a very skilled violinist and used that skill in his comedy.
