Criminally underrated bona fide classic album from a band who deserved much better before they got washed away by the Grunge tsunami. The production on this record is fantastic - everything sounds HUGE.

Same here. Not sure if you ever heard of Silvertide from Philadelphia, but I've been listening to their "Show and Tell" album a ton lately. Not exactly like Love/Hate, but some great hard-edge rock. I've been collecting music since the 60s and this one is one of my favorites. Too bad they didn't stick together longer. "I Ain't Comin' Home", "SFC", "Mary Jane" and "California Rain" are my favorites. Rock on!

+Majestic12 Rock music was on fire back then. The looks, attitude, creativity, insane guitar solo's and slick productions are what's missing today. Don't get me wrong there will always be good music coming out but for the Hard Rock/Glam pop genre the bands I mentioned above (plus many more in my record collection) were the real deal and nothing these days can ever compare. Most of these Scandinavian bands that tried to revive Hard Rock/Glam a few years ago failed miserably sounding like Eurovision dog shit. Not all but most of 'em anyway. Not to mention the boring non existing Rock scene of today. That certainly wasn't the case in the 80's/mid 90's.Christ,even the ballads kicked ass! Rock music needs a kick in the butt,a real comeback. x

These two screams after the solo up to the end are insane. Marq Torien of Bullet Boys also could do this. I liked the song when it came out in 1990, but it took 30 years to spin it on heavy rotation. What a fun song.
