YES Judge. If you or anyone you know has schizophrenia, encourage and normalize taking meds and getting therapy. My ex boyfriend tried to kill himself while in a supermarket bathroom. He hadn’t taken his meds in about 2 months and he didn’t tell me he was mentally ill. If I knew, I would have encouraged him to do so and could have prevented his permanent brain and hand damage. It’s terrifying what people can do when they’re brain is working against them

My only brother passed away after being diagnosed with schizophrenia he refused to take his medication and was constantly in and out of jail where they over drugged him and forced him to take it . I’m miss him and with there was more people like the judge to help with the adjustment of medication so that it can actually help people instead of harm them
