I hate when the judge tries to victim blame. Different people have different strengths or self-esteem to either be able to get out of an abusive situation or not. This isn't the first time that I've seen the judge Grill an alleged victim of DV about why they didn't leave. That's so sad because if it's true that she was a victim now the judge is re victimizing her by pretty much blaming her for staying. SMH

A lot people not just “ women “ have a lot of issues in their life like self-esteem and love themselves and that’s one reason why some people take physical abuse because they feel like they deserve and they won’t find anyone better . Another reason is some people have kids with significant other or they depend ont his significant other financial they wouldn’t have nowhere to live if they leave . One of the most biggest one is they are scared ! People fear their abuser because they don’t know what they will do to them and the type threats they make . It’s not simple to just get up and leave and make them seem like they are in fault for them getting abuse
