@@julest5767 I'm able to understand 90% of Spanish but Chema sounded like a drunk Daffy Duck. I could barely hear what he was saying. 🤪 I know the alcohol was flowing but for someone who I thought (for the most part) was mature and put together, Fernanda was like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.😮

Jajajaja Chema speaks like "fresa". Fresa is a kind of people in México who express es this rare accent but is common and a normal between rich people. The Word "fresa' was born in the 1980 with the tv actors like Luis de Alba who said this Word for first time. Fresa" was a popular Word in the mexican universities .

Great review! Karen and Fernando's wedding was so beautiful. Karen looked stunning and Fernando's vows including her child was to tier! Irais and Silvia were also stunning too. I am glad they didn't get married. Irais seemed like she wanted a wedding and Silvia deserves a better guy. Only routing for Karen and Fernando to be together at the reunion. The rest of them either need to work on themselves or find a person more suited for them. Special mension to that wedding venue! That really long pool and the everthing was beautiful.

Agreed, maybe I wasn’t in the right Reddit thread but I felt like everyone thought Chema and Silvia running off was funny and cute and I did not! It felt like I wasted emotional investment on something that wasn’t even real which is the whole part of viewership and avoiding the fourth wall. I hope Netflix makes their refund from them 😂

I thought it was super exploitive of Netflix to add the sex scenes and nudity in love is blind Mexico. It is typical that Mexico gets the over sexualized version shown and made the women look extremely bad; shouting, jealous etc.. You commented that Karen's daughter won't see and hear her mom on the show having sex; no way you can hide or control that. At school that poor kid will have to deal with comments from classmates etc. Karen is a child like women who put her needs before her daughter clearly by allowing those scenes and discussing how sexual of a person she is.

@123.earlystart If you think Mexico was oversexualized, you don't want to watch the Brazilian version. 🙈😅 As far as Karen goes, it's tough because, on one hand, it was Netflix who decided to air all the "spicy" details. Even conversations she was trying to have in private with Fernando, "hidden" cameras were there. I would say she could've waited until the cameras were off to discuss her sex life with Fer BUT I believe sex, finances, religion and politics should be talked about IN the pods before you accept a proposal and to make sure the other person is a match.
