Let me tell you something real fast. From someone who usually has a very good intuition and a background in psychology : The “ cheating “ is an excuse for her to act out. She is incredibly insecure. He seems to have it all and she doesn’t feel like she measures up. She constantly sabotages herself from the start, like from day 1 when she told him she couldn’t wait to meet the guys… like girl… why ? And why do you feel the need to tell him ? And then she always put him in positions to be in competition with other guys. She acts way more like a cheater than him 100%. She’s acting like when a man feels insecure because his girl makes more money than him and so he tries to humble her. Let’s be honest, as a whole he is a 12/10. She is barely a 5 with that nasty attitude of hers. And the fact that she has the nerves to victimise herself like that. Like cmon be for real who hasn’t been bullied ? It’s like a step of life, like a level 4 in Mario Bros or something. She gives me the ick

Something is not right with her. And a lot of narcissistic people will weaponize their victim and sob stories, which may be not even be true, to garner sympathy and so their victims have no idea the cruel behavior they are capable of until it’s too late and are deeply traumatized by the cognitive dissonance of the person they presented themselves to be at the beginning versus how they treat their partners.

For me it's most her snapping at him for being himself and just her all round treatment of him, her flirting with Sam right in front of him and constantly saying he looks dead on like my ex was just nuts and then turns around and gets upset when Freddie says sm1 else is attractive even the way she snapped at him when she was with her friends and a few seconds later just smiled at him and told him to go get a drink I honestly couldn't I would be so out of that relationship. My mum is Filipino and I can tell you from experience, it’s quite common for Filipino mums to be EXACTLY like Jasmines mum. They think they know everything and that their kids have zero ability to make good decisions for themselves. It’s like narcissism on steroids and it’s totally learned behaviour. I don’t know why it’s so common but I know SO many Filipino mums like this. Her comments on Bobby’s education made my blood boil, but I know from experience that if Jasmine had called her mum out on it then she would have been called disrespectful, ungrateful, an embarrassment. I am femme and nonbinary, and since I started dating I got the ick for the opposite, for men having to pay for me all the time, I didn't like it. I discovered that my love language is gifts, I like to give gifts, and I am not as great receiving them all the time. I like feeling independent with my own money and feeling that I don't depend on anyone and I can have freedom with what I earn and splurge if I want to, and I value other forms of affection to be given to me (like quality time, and words of affirmation). So I don't consider myself on the traditional side and I pretty much feel weird when someone tries to "woo" me with gifts, but that's just me. Just putting it out there because I don't feel there's a "correct" or "wrong" way to be about it. Also, I have been at times the one that "earns less" or have been with someone that earns less than me, so I don't mind balancing things of that nature if needed. Money comes and goes, but love, affection and care are there when you have someone that's worth living your life with.

My personal opinion is that when men are just providers, you lose your part. What if after 10 years you divorce? Will someone be able to find a job and maintain themselves? I like men to invite on the first dates but I also like to invite when I feel like it. My job, my money… that’s what makes me secure. Hi, re Prenups benefitting the person w/o money is the person with lower wages can negotiate to leave an agreed amt of money and prosperty. This is generally for folks with a good amount of wealth. Catherine could negotiate what she'd want. It's not uncommon.

Prenups don't need to just be we leave what we came with. They can agree on anything (legal) for example, they can say that if the person with no money gets cheated on they leaves with 60% or gets the kids. Or they can say this person gets the house and that person gets the investment account. They could say whoever get custody of kids gets the house. You can get a prenup stating that you get a certain amount money for every year you were married. You can also put in an infidelity clause as well that states that if the person with money cheats, they have to pay a certain amount in alimony. A prenup is a contract and a contract can be negotiated. The person who does not have the money can add in terms that benefit them. For example a payout after a specified period of time or negotiating for a percentage of investment accounts if the marriage doesn't work out

Sorry to say this but the fact is if " that group over there" of women didn't fight for equality, frankly you and all the social media ladies would not be here. I'm really enjoying your coverage of Love Is Blind UK-you spoke about Freddie and Catherine....I agree that she may have gotten a case of the ick's about the cheating-but also (and mostly) I believe they're tragically flawed because their upbringings were so different! She grew up an only child, the center of attention (which she always wants to be in every circumstance) in Freddie's situation his brother was always the center of attention not him and rightly so because his brother needed constant care. All the way back to the pods, I feel like they didn't ask each other the right questions...if cheating was a deal breaker for Cat why wasn't he asked about that in the pods? I also believe she (Cat) makes statements which are simply not true (like saying in the beginning that she was her parents ONLY daughter so they had to like her fiance) the truth is she was an only child (no other siblings) it's a misleading statement..... I don't know if I believe Sam because we know he is a little twisty with the truth and it to me plays into the narrative that he always the guy who gets wronged and he did nothing to deserve it. It is also irrelevant at the end of day of what Nicole did with Sam while they were engaged and it silly to essentially shame her for wanting to have sex with her partner. He was also operating as if Nicole was dragging him through the mud when it is in fact the other pod men barred Ollie who seem not get on with him. Nicole does not appear to be confrontational and operates on everyone is good at heart because she still was saying she thought Sam was a good person just not her person. The fact even try to get mad by her returning the ring and bracelet tells me Sam is full of it.

Dating (especially those first few) is all about finding out if you mesh with someone. You’re asking questions and seeing how someone answers. You can ask to pay to see someone’s response to it, and bc like I said, for me, it’s simply courteous…but if the answer is yes, then I just learned something about you that doesn’t align with me. To me it’s literally no different than asking about their opinions on politics, another fundamental value that I think people want to be on the same page about, more or less. Neither choice is the “right” one, but it matters a lot. Being a SAHM is a lifestyle choice and how can you be with someone who doesn’t want the same lifestyle as you?
