I'm trying to be empathetic to her own adoptive journey but I can't lie it sometimes feels a tad like she uses that as an excuse for her toxic behavior. I'm adopted & never even thought of using my adoption and feelings around that as a way to justify hurting my partner. It definitely can be an explanation but I feel there's a little bit of accountability missing on Cat's end. She should really consider doing therapy for adoptees if she hasn't already. The way she speaks of her adoption reminds me of myself like 20 years ago & I'm the same age as Cat. I would advise her to use her adoption story as a way to propel her forward instead of as a fall back to justify her repeated toxic behavior 🤷🏻♀️

@@Libby-j6d yes 🙌🏼 I did totally feel the same way about her mentality around her adoption being very negative and almost even victimizing herself. Her adoptive parents seemed SOOO loving and attentive so it was a little hard to watch her portray her adoption as such a negative event in her life. She probably has other feelings around it, but I look at our birth mothers as "giving us up" because of the immense amount of love they had for us and the desire for us to experience a better life than they were capable of providing at that time. It's just difficult for me to resonate with such a victim/loss mentality around adoption. I feel like it's been the biggest blessing in my life to have the love of my adoptive (real) parents 💜

Cause I was adopted at 3y/o after being taken from my bio home for major neglect (found in the home with only my brother and blood in our diapers), and then through 7 foster homes and I don't treat people like that. Not to mention that I am an entirely different race from my adoptive family. Early childhood trauma is not an excuse and she doesn't seem to show remorse for being so rude to Freddie. Sam sounded more sincere here, actually taking accountability and admitting to his insecurities, realizing that the things he said was not great. I am saying this because I see my self sabotaging ways in cat... she is very insecure which you saw from the group catch up. She so openly spoke about Sam looking like her ex but immediately got her defense up when Fred found one of the girls he met in the pod attractive. She then decided to get validation by flirting so openly with Sam. If that isn't an indication of a potential cheating moment then I don't know what is. Shes probably projecting here when she found out he cheated because perhaps she did to at some point. Conjecture of course. We are all a spectrum between black and white but some of us are in a darker shade of this spectrum than others but I think Fred deserves someone who is at his level like his sister said.

You're the only one I've found who's speculated that she's probably cheated before. I've said the same thing, and people have said otherwise. Disappointed cat has never been put under the hot seat for how she acted with Sam despite being so harsh with Freddie. Trauma does not excuse or justify bad behavior. She deserves the hot seat as much as the men all got asked about their actions/words. Why the lack of accountability?

I would love to see a Japanese translation. The UK version is one of the best looking men in the Love is Blind series and I enjoyed watching it. The women were also very beautiful, even though they didn't seem to get engaged.

The problem with Sam and Cat is that they play victim while attacking others. essentially, they avoid culpability by focusing on how they have been hurt. Sam with his childhood trauma and issue with his looks...but then says that he just mixes up his words and doesn't mean harm. Oh, you didn't mean harm when you were concerned that Nicole would be fat??? Or how about when you randomly spouted off about her coming to your home and trying to have sex with you??? The same is true with Cat...One minute she's on Freddy about saying a girl, who she pointed out as pretty, was indeed pretty to him. The next minute she's at the bar telling Sam he looks like her ex and that the ring she got from Freddy was not as nice as the ring Sam gave to Nicole. Sam and Cat are narcissists!

When Sam said "Nicole made the right decision"😂 he was over himself at that point. People are being so horrible to Cat and Sam. They are not bad people they just insecure and that manifests itself in different ways. Give people grace.

I see Sam is still doing his perpetually flustered and befuddled Hugh Grant routine. It sounds like both Sam and Cat are going to go through life hiding behind and weaponizing their insecurities to justify their terrible behavior.

I always feel bad for people who get all the hate from others, like Cat after the show. We don’t really know these people, and based on some of the edits we see, I don't think anyone deserves it.

Its kind of nice that people who host give opportunity to those who recieve hate comments online to actually talk about themselves and let people know them better cause probably they are just miss understood, unlike ones who host love is blind US who were literally acting not really friendly and objective towards their contestants who recieved hate online, this is really something nice from you guys 😊

Catherine seems like a nice young lady. However, when watching the episodes, I remember her being quite judgmental in the beginning and even intolerant of Eddie's sense of humor. It would grate on her. We literally saw his smile fade as the episodes went on. Then, at some point, she flips the script on him, where she was insecure in the relationship to now him being the one who was insecure about himself and the relationship. She undermined his spirit and sabotaged the relationship, and then seems to forget about her role in why it ultimately failed. Of course, we as viewers only get part of the story, but the way it played out in the end corroborates her role in their separation. She's young, and it's apparent that she was bringing a lot of personal baggage to the relationship, as it is that she's learned a lot from this experience and found a new level of self awareness and understanding. I wish her all the best.... As for Sam, he also seems like a nice guy, and he's coming clean on his insecurities. They were exposed on the show for all to see. I knew he wasn't right for Nicole (or anyone!) when he kept saying how he wanted to be loved, to find someone who loved him for who he was and would make him feel happy. Notice the language: it's all me, me, me. It's all coming from a place of need. His whole focus was on himself and what he could get from the relationship instead of what he could bring to it and enrich their bond and uplift her! So what we saw was a "nervous" foot in the mouth, cringe moments where he demeans her at the very moment when he should be lavishing her with love and compliments. His "boring brown" eyes comment hurt ME as a viewer with nothing invested in the relationship. I can only imagine how it made her feel! She obviously made the right call in terminating the relationship and moving on to Benaiah. So all's well that ends well. If you don't get that "fairy tale" ending it's because you aren't worthy of it. And in the end, life is always full of challenges. At least Cat and Sam can now admit that they're both better for the experience. I wish them both well and that they eventually do find the right person to spend the rest of their lives with once they've done the necessary work and healing . . .

Sam: It was so obvious you were repeating Julia Roberts' lines towards Hugh Grant in the film Notting Hill that I knew your connection wasn't genuine but "copied" since the moment you said that to Nicole. My suggestion for your personal growth is that you find you own way/words to describe your love towards someone. Otherwise, people might think you're playing a movie role instead of expressing what a "real" person is feeling.

Should have called out Sam about the comment to Ben about Nicole wanting to sleep with him... such an ugly moment.
