@@the___truth8038 the show originated in the UK in 2015 and they've done 6 seasons. There's also a Australian, German, and Sweden Love Island and none have had a Black couple as a the winners. The Australian and the original British versions/productions are the best.

The interviewer needs to do a better job asking questions... like most of these questions were about other relationships and why can't a couple just win because of their love, why did she have to bring race into it? We voted for Jaleb for their genuine love for each other.

lol justine's face when caleb was saying casa amor was early on in the season and johnny and cely hardly knew each other tells us she thinks otherwise. she keeps saying cely was loyal and all in and i agree with her

The fact that Caleb came later on and spent less time with Justine than Johnny did with Cely and he still remained loyal makes Johnny look even worse. If he had said no two relationships are the same then it would have made more sense than him saying it was still early on. Caleb is a loyal friend and since Johnny and Cely are still together he is backing them. Caleb tried to warn Johnny at Casa Amor bc he knew what he was doing was dead wrong. Caleb is such an unproblematic gentleman. Justine respects Cely’s decisions without letting Johnny off the hook all the way. They are just great.

@@jnetd03 i agree! caleb and justine are both very mature and well spoken and loyal friends. johnny isnt loyal at all and i would say cely isn't either. the look on their faces when jaleb got the hideaway said it all. once they realized they weren't the frontrunners their entire attitude changed and they started trying too hard to be "couple goals"

But TO ME that wasn't even the problem. It was the way he behaved + treated Cely afterwards. I know sunglasses thing was supposedly a producer-led action (e.g., "voice of God" told Johnny to tell Cely to remove her glasses). But STILL...Cely's emotions + his intensity was still very much real. And he was intense/jealous on multiple occasions after the date w/ Bennie. But hey, if Cely is fine with it...by all means, do you boo! LOL.
