I love how a lot of Kirby games have one specific song that, while it isn't the game's main theme, it's the one most people associates with the game. For Rainbow Curse it was the sky level theme, for Return to Dreamland it was the Sky Tower theme, and for Forgotten Land it's the mall theme. It's great.

Looks like we have the reason why both Alivel Mall stages in Forgotten Land have specific missions that involve eating sweets Out of all the Forgotten Land songs they could've chosen to rearrange, I'm glad Alivel Mall was selected! It's one of my absolute favorites from Forgotten Land, and I'm always super excited to start racing whenever I hear it in-game Glad that Hirokazu Ando already revisited the song this soon, it's a keeper for sure

I mean, Faded Dream of a Psychomeddler had some bits of Alivel Mall already. Alivel Mall might be considered as tertiary leitmotif for Forgotten Land (the other two being the two New World songs).

@@geoffreyhamm3436 Roar of Dedede is itself a remix of Dedede's theme in Star Allies, which has an addition added to a remix of Super Star's Dedede theme, which itself is an updated remix of Mt. Dedede from the original Kirby's Dream Land. So yes, they likely will remix Dedede's theme again for the next game you fight him in.

It's nowhere near as good as Sky Tower, but the best themes aren't always the recurring ones. Fly! Kirby of the Stars is an example of an amazing theme rarely used.

I really enjoy the major contrast between this version and the original. Especially 0:34 where this part in the original had a sort of somber tone to it, this uses parts from the version of Waddle Dee’s Weapon Shop. “Faded Dream of a Psycho-Meddler” can also briefly be heard near the end

The original Alive Mall theme really hits hard in a post-apocalyptic setting that hints at the downfall of human civilization, but this really changes the vibes for one of the deepest songs in Forgotten Land.
