1:06 Yes! They kept the driving percussion! I really did not care for how every arrangement of Battleship Halberd/Kirby Arrives on the Scene from Brawl onwards would have every instrument switch to the syncopated triplets. It absolutely kills the momentum.

@@AsecasJavi Really? I always thought Kirby and co. got generally preferential treatment as they’re Sakurai’s favorite sons (followed by Pit, Palutena, and Dark Pit because his involvement with KIU), especially in Subspace Emissary and the opening of the World of Light.

@@AsecasJavi That last part seems more of a preference issue as it’s not like the entire Kirby fandom is crying out for playable Galacta Knight or such, but what do you mean by “directly referenced”? Because Kirby uses the Ultra Sword from RtDL, Masked Dedede is from SSU, and SqSq, RtDL, TD, PR, and SA all have one or two tracks (including the boss medley for SqSq), with only the spin-offs and KatFL missing spirit representation. Granted, of those games only SqSq had remixes while the rest were lifted straight from their sources, but fact is all those titles listed are from after Sakurai left HAL Laboratories to form Sora Ltd., his last involvement with a Kirby game being KatAM.
