It was when i fell in love with this mysterous broadcast of Off the Air forever. I quickly checked the time to see it was past 3 am. It engraved my mind. So much so on weekends i would wake up in the middle of the night to see Off the Air on playing something without planning it. I didnt complain. After it was over the tv was shut off and i went back to sleep. To this day i still wake up at 3 am despite no TV. I miss those nights. I never forget them though.

This, & many other things, makes me grateful for the existence of Adult Swim. What an amazing celebration of absurdism, I love it. & I not so secretly hope everyone becomes a cynical, realist absurdist, & that this brand of humor becomes more commonplace because... I like it, & am those things. I also think those things do a more effective job than glasses at making someone seem smart... if done right. But I guess the doing it right part is the part that requires intelligence, so it ultimately would lead to an unintentional parody of smart people. I can live with that. It's better than what we have now. I kind of feel like this, the potentially longer version of this stream of consciousness / rant, could be an Adult Swim episode. & I do say that as a compliment to Adult Swim.
