He was so good in that scene... and truthfully I've been on sets with great well known actors thinking "They're so good, this looks like crap...", but with a good sound team, lighting, and editing, the performance was so much better watching the finished product than on set. Like when I watch people's audition tapes and think "I love that actor, but how did they know from that VHS tape that was sent in?" Or a clearly cellphone taped thing. This guy though, that scene, with absolutely no other part of the production team being remotely skilled, was still able to put out a performance that stood out, and made you feel for his character what you should. All I could think when I watched it (I did watch the movie after watching this the first time) was with a competent crew this actor could get somewhere...

Now that I've watched this whole episode, I have a new theory about what happened. This film was probably scored and had music that got nixed at the last moment. In the credits, someone is credited with Original Music. It's possible that there was a VERY last minute screw up with money or something and it was all pulled. There's also TWO editors credited. I wonder if a second editor had to come in at the last minute and pull the music and then really hurriedly do the best he could with sound editing and HE was the voiceover. It's pretty clear that Lisa's ADR is not the actress. So it was just whoever was in the room when they had the 2 days to fix everything and get it out. There's a whole sound team in the credits and there's no way that a team mixed it so poorly in the final cut. I'm guessing that was the 2nd editor who didn't know what he was doing, or just didn't have the time to do it. So, this second editor was asked to do an impossible job in zero time with likely not even close to appropriate pay. IF he's the voiceover, I can imagine he might have been impaired in some way or another. It IS L.A., right? So I'm sure he took some liberties to fill a lot of silent space. Oh... and my favorite part is at 50:13 when the boom operator and boom are clearly in the mirror. Fun fact: (fun not guaranteed) Somehow, 50:13 in your video shows exactly what's happening at 50:13 in the film on Amazon. You likely didn't try to do that. A one in a million coincidence.

I fucking love how Lisa went so far as to meet this creepy old woman in her creepy old woman mansion, to hear her absolutely insane request, rather than just bounce out the moment some dude's mom showed up at their date. And it actually seems like she was considering it? I THINK Paula's point was that, if Prince was reborn, he'd be reborn as a baby and age normally as a human, because that's what makes sense. So if he died 30 years ago and was reincarnated, he wouldn't be 60 or whatever, he'd be 30. Lisa thinks that, if he came back, he'd come back as a grown-ass man, and age from there.

If one of us is venting anger or frustration, and we want to make that friend laugh- we just randomly yell "BIG DEAL, I'M ALVIN FLANG!"- And it does a pretty good job at lightening the mood momenterily- and usually "Alright grab on ya pizza faced cinder block" is the response to that... those are totally the best lines in this, and most movies! Ralphthemoviemaker has found the voice actor of Alvin Flang and interviewed him. It's on his channel right now.

Remember to give this movie a perfect rating on IMDB! That way you please our local Ralph. I'm just going to patiently keep going, you should watch The Last Vampire on Earth. I think it was recently put on Prime, so you have no excuse! Teeth and The Covenant are also good choices.

Kyle I have no idea how you thought this was Bad bad. I would honestly put this up there with any of the best bad movies I've seen. Birdemic, Samurai Cop, Miami Connection, and yes even The Room. I laughed till I cried watching this

It feels like it was made to be a dramatic romance, but someone editing went "this will be better as a comedy" so they added the dog voice over. That would also explain the fart noises.
