@@loiskempff8046 I didn’t mean to deceive. Grief is different for everyone. Typically, the pain of grief eases over time. Some people, however, experience protracted grief. Then, it remains terribly hard for a long time. I’ve had some losses in my life that I cried with for years. It doesn’t make sense to me when and who and how this long raw grief gets triggered. Regardless, we each do grief differently. It’s as individual and as common as we are.

I am a young 72yr old guy in love with a 76yr old woman who lost her husband of 54 years a fee gears ago. Neither of us were looking for someone or even imagined we'd want to love again! We started our friendship about 2 years after her husband passed, during a Grief Recovery program. True love NEVER stops!
