Magical how? I'm in my '30s now and barely care to listen to music or consume mainstream entertainment. I don't see how either could ever have had any impact on a person's life. I feel like in the '60s and '70s and downturn in the economy and the war were probably far more important to people than music. Most people probably went weeks at a time without listening to music.

This was the first song I could remember all the words to, right after my son was born, so this has been his lullaby, along with Bus Stop.
I have always thought this song was so very cute! I sing it to my grandkids and they just giggle,
