I lost my mom three times over the years. First to a car accident, then she was kidnapped a few years after she got out of coma, this was 1995, i never got to see her after that. She died 2019. When my wife and I got married, our wedding song was “Love Song for a Vampire”, which is also from this firm. That was because we met in college, broke up after graduation and found each other by chance several years later. As our love for each other never died, we thought that song was quite appropriate. During the cocktail hour at our wedding reception, we had numerous love songs played which I had copied on to a CD. One of them was the original version of this song from the soundtrack. Had I known about this version of it, it would have certainly been played. This is such a beautiful version of it. Maybe I’ll use it if we renew our vows one day…
