Thank you for your for posting this video. I have been watching multiple videos of soap artists (?) creating additive shapes to their soap. I have been cringing at the tactics other artist are using. Your wire cutter, silicone mold, and measuring techniques make your videos relaxing to watch.

Hi, I have the same embed mold , longer tube that doesnt come apart. Forgive me if this sounds like a dumb question, but any tips on how to get soap out of those type of molds, does it push out easily? im hesitant to try it since the silicone seems a bit rigid to me. Thanks

Hi I’m wondering why you prefer CP over MP? And what are your thoughts about NP Soap Making. Also do you need to be Qualified in Aromatherapy to use Essential Oils or Blends In items that are absorbed into the skin?

I have that same heart shaped mold...How did you get your soap out of the mold so cleanly? Mine always breaks.
@Soapish
@Soapish 7 жыл бұрын
Lauren Brown I freeze the soap... it's the only way. And then I use a dowel to push the bottom of the mold inside out up through the top. It's a real pain and it's taken a lot of practice haha. I've used this mold so much that now the silicone is stretched out and much easier to get my soap out of than before. Brambleberry has a heart shaped embed mold that looks so much better to use than this... but since I only use this one time a year, I haven't just bought that one for myself.

May I ask how do you mix your color? do you use oils, glycerin, water or something else to mix them? and do you use micas/pigment? what is your advice?
@Soapish
@Soapish 7 жыл бұрын
Yahaira Almonte I use micas and pigments mixed with oil. I like to mix pigments in a plastic zipper bag with the oil by hand, then I snip off the corner and squeeze the color out.
