Completely agree. While I was in middle school when it came out, I had the same obsession with Green Day. While it may be nostalgia for that time as a kid, 94-96 alternative was my favorite era of music. And Angus is a great film to boot!

Actually, funny story, I worked the tour of the furs and bunnymen in 01, Standing there eating a sandwich with Richard Fortus, he and I were discussing the Bunnymen, and how they are one of his ABSOLUTE fave bands. I mean, wow, he was thrilled to be on tour with them. I asked him if they would do any LSL on this tour, as they had done mixed sets before, he said, yeah, prolly not. Then during soundcheck, they actually played half of this song, and then half of Fall on tears, only half... Then NOTHING that night, kind of a ... Almost, premature orgasm or something. They did great shows that tour, I just wish they would put out new material, last from the furs was late summer 1991, and the LSL , a few years later, now, still touring, but lets have some new stuff fellas.

NMAfreak yeah, My stories and experiences for a lot of bands, are 2nd to none. Ive done U2, Bunnymen, the Furs, I shot Peter Hook and the Light in November. That day with the Furs and LSL attempts, I ended up driving the bunnymen around Boston, because, they needed some stuff, going to walmart etc. I had my car cause it was local, so they had me drive them everywhere. So, I have my 2nd fave band in my car, driving them to Walmart, the computer store, Musicians planet. IT was cheaper than paying for the club runner I suppose, and, hey, I was on the tour. The Furs were all incredibly nice guys ... When Richard gets in a good sarcastic mood, he has you laughing . John Ashton told us some stories about crossing into Canada, Good hell that guy was Awesome funny. They had a stand in drummer that set of dates, Frank was off doing some other project at the time. Tim, nice guy, kind of anti social, but in the right mood, great guy too.

Anyway, every time the Furs tour the West-Coast, I see every f'ing show. Don't give up hope!! I waited 28 years to see them the first time. Even if you have to save up a tone of $$ to travel to see them, they are worth it. Heck, I suggest planning a trip that consists of seeing them multiple times in one trip. I've been blessed with meeting fellow fans, and with traveling blessings, you know? :-)

Dear friend, thanks a lot for your kind reply! Am glad for you but I still haven't succeed in doing that. Really hope to do that and follow your advice soon, thank god I have some money saved and can afford a long travel and multiple venues. I love the furs so much and I hope that some of them turns his/her head and notice how much I wish to see and talk to them. Am not the kind of person that screams or what at the concerts. Am a musician as well who wants just to listen and to talk to them. I know the second part would be harder but...never quit to try, that's my motto! Have a nice day from Italy. E.
