I don't know but, I was so afraid with that jump the car did, that the car might bonk or flip over and Richie might die in his best moment like many other shows usually do. When the episode ended and Richie grew it felt so good but weird as, TV shows have us so used to tragedies in the best moments that ending on a high note is rare

Both in this episode and the Copenhagen one I was so relieved when things went well and many people in those restaurants were normal, nice humans who weren’t just out to get our characters all the time. This show is so chaotic and stress-inducing (in a good way!) that these moments of happiness and calmness are amazing.

@@hedwig123456 During episode 6, Unc is explaining to Ritchie's wife how, on the drive down, he passed a chocolate banana spot that his dad used to take him to. He mentions that he became emotional for his dad in that moment, even after he had been gone all those years. Ritchie's wife then tries to thank Unc for giving Ritchie a job, when Unc hadn't even done that yet. To save Ritchie some embarrassment, Unc played along and said it was no problem to give him a job. Years later, Ritchie clearly still remembered what Unc did and decided to show Unc he was thinking about him with the chocolate banana dessert.

He didn’t realize Richie was listening in because Jimmy was talking to his wife. This shows how far Richie has come in hospitality as well because he always listens and pays attention to people and their wants and needs

Lost his only love, distanced from his daughter, feels inadequate and has not recovered from his best friend taking his own life. He finds purpose in his life. He discovers happiness. 'The Bear' the only TV show to ever bring me to tears in 2 series's in a row! This episode/scene is amazing and so moving and the finale in season 1 with Radiohead in the background, the laugh that Richie does when he is sat at the table gets me everytime for some reason!

It really speaks to the brilliance of this show that someone singing Taylor Swift’s Romeo and Juliet doesn’t even for a second feeling cheesy but somehow completely earned and natural. As someone who never listens to Swift, nor particularly likes her music, yet was completely wrapped up and emotional in the scene jamming along with the music, its astounding really, that after all the needle drops and tastefully obscure or relatively unknown songs of the soundtrack, that a Taylor Swift pop song feels perfect in this scene becuz of all the context.

Love all of the character development.. such a great show that people are sleeping on. Didn’t realize the “love story” and his excitement is Richie transforming after his stage. He loves everything about what he was experiencing and understands why Carmie takes it so seriously. Edit: I realized the song wasn’t just about his love story with the restaurant. I completely forgot about the tickets he bought for his daughter and Tiff. He was listening to learn the songs and sing along because what better way to connect with your daughter than learn her favorite singer’s songs. Such a great girl dad move

I dont know whats a better detail, Richie interrupting his Taylor Swift rendition to cuss out another driver, which is just... hilarious and authentic. Or the detail right after that he apologizes for cussing them out, which is again, signifying his growth as a person.

Never thought a Taylor Swift song would hype me up like this one did. The most brilliant part about this scene is, that even though this was an unconventional choice of a feature for this particular show and might have come out as a bit cheesy if used incorrectly, they plotted this by mentioning the artiste's name from the first episode of this season. Grew up listening to this track, and so, this was very gratifying to watch this scene unveil itself like it did. This is the best TV series airing right now. 10/10
