Victor is on a journey. He is a teenager and he doesn't know yet what his sexuality actually is like. And at the moment it feels easier for him to get to know Mia, who is nice and gorgeous and his parents would love her. But Benji excites him in all different kind of places though ;)

@@starstar4967 I disagree slightly. There's an internal struggle or battle that every guy goes through when questioning own sexuality and honestly it can happen at any age. Doesn't mean it's right but there are plenty of adults that go through things like this. Sometimes it isn't so clear cut. Everyone's journey is different but shame, confusion, hatred and all of those things we feel as a teen dealing with something like this can happen to anyone at any age. Speaking from experience! ☺️

By the way Simon’s friends were accepting of him being gay. The issue is is that Simon was outed because he was being blackmailed and he refused to help the guy blackmailing him. The guy was blackmailing Simon to manipulate his friends so one of them would like the guy blackmailing him. Simon messed with his friends love lives a lot to keep from being outed. That’s why they were angry. Not because they weren’t accepting

ahhh see i haven’t watched the movie in a while and i often get the canon from the book and movie mixed up. the book was much better and his friends reactions were more understandable in the book imo (abby being upset about simon trying to hook up martin with her, but ultimately forgiving him because he was being blackmailed; leah being upset because he came out to abby first but ultimately knowing it was irrational for her to be upset and understanding why simon came out to abby first and then making up; and nick just being all around rad.) but reading these replies,,,,, ugh the movie did NOT handle that as well

Watched the entire show in one day; the day it came out. Glad you’re reacting to and enjoying it, believe me I feel it is every bit as amazing as Love, Simon and I can relate to it so much as I’m sure many fans can too. I'm so glad your watching this show like I'm not gay and I dont what it's like to be someone gay and coming out to the people you love but this show gives such a great detail description on what it's like to been a teenage boy and figure out who he is and what he likes. I'm the kinda rock of my family, the one they never have to worry about, who is organized and knows what to do. And none deserves to be deceived or for outing. And we can understand both sides. However, his friends are supportive. Each people's emmotions are important.
