I have a coworker that at times it seems she goes out of her way to be rude and mean to me. I was just talking to my wife this morning about the situation and no less than five minutes later I find this video. I so love how when my heart and my head want to do one thing and say certain things and treat people certain way, but the Holy Spirit teaches me what is right, what is judged, what is pure. I wasn't treated particularly well in high school, one mistake which I made was to ignore or to try to ignore them: That's better than revenge but I lost a lot of potential to pray for them and recite a blessing over them, I encourage everyone to never waste the opportunities I was given like I did.

So much of this teaching is needed. It is the foundation of Christianity. So said that it is not a common principle in the vast majority of Christians especially when God is SO clear on this principle through Jesus' life. A desire for truth can only lead to this one conclusion. And this is a hard conclusion to accept, it was for me 15 years ago and still is. I have a natural attitude for revenge and retaliation. I'm thankful God blessed me with His message through my parents.

I rewinded John asking the third question like 5 times 😂 I don’t want to just do what’s right outwardly. I want a heart change. I want it just be my nature. I’m 24, and I’ve gave my life to Jesus when I was 22. There’s been ups and downs, but he’s been growing me and showing his goodness and glory to me in ways that are just mind blowing.... it’s gotten to the point where I can’t help help but notice my prideful nature, and I can’t stand it. I love him, and I really don’t like that there are things in my character (like how my flesh craves praise and honor, and recognition) that I know are unpleasing to him.... but he keeps showing me his goodness... And then I realize he knew all these ways in me were already there when I first gave myself to him, and he reached right into my mess, not caring how my dirt would get on his hands and pulled me out and started cleaning me up for a deeper relationship and communion with him... Anyway, he’s been ministering to me about it, so I know now it’s only a matter of time before I truly grasp ahold of letting that go. But man, I want to be able to show love to any and everybody without there being any perverse intentions. I want to lay myself down for others not because I know I should... but because it’s who I am. I want to be a pleasing aroma unto Jesus. A humble and acceptable sacrifice. Help me Lord.

Excellent short teaching on, to me, what is the most perplexing and outright offensive teaching of Yeshua. The point that the Father and the Son of Man will repay them and repay us clarifies everything and gives me the ultimate rationale to try the teaching out. There will be perfect Divine Justice in the end for all. That's what will enable us to do this, with wisdom, little by little. We just need a lot of discernment and wisdom in how to apply this based on context.

September 25, that is coming Sunday is my birthday and my heart's desire is to be closer to God and deepen my intimacy with him. These words of wisdom are my best birthday gift ever. That was the best explanation of those scriptures I have ever heard. I do these things mostly but its very hard and frustrating. Loving your enemies is hard but if you can put yourself in their shoes for a few minutes and try to understand them it will help you to love them and see their point of view. You never know what someone else has been thru.

A wonderful lesson; thankful the Holy Spiirit is sanctifying me. I have been such a phoney person all my life, even as a Christian I did things for notice. I have seen a neighbor change, not from me but from the Holy Spirit leading her to Christ. We were enemies a year ago.
