Thank you Pastor John. My husband & I started praying together because our Pastor suggested it. That was over 7 years ago! 💜 We will celebrate our 37th Wedding Anniversary tomorrow. I feel extremely blessed, by my husbands prayers. He was not a man of prayer, but God! He is a strong prayer warrior for our family, our finances, our marriage, our church body etc. I cry every time he kneels & prays with me. It’s an unexplainable feeling! We end the prayers and recite the Our Father together. We hold hands while we kneel & pray. Remember folks, this man I’m married to was an alcoholic, and didn’t care for God. He has been transformed by the power of our Heavenly Father. I’m thankful I waited for this change. I am now reaping the reward of a godly husband! 💜 To God be the glory forever and ever! Amen!

Marriage is not about men anymore and their natural sexual urges . Just like husbands are called to love like Christ to the church - and the church is rarely loving god the right way. So therefore husbands and wives should be following the call of love and respect regardless of the spouse. Your role as a Christian wife is independent from your husband - he almost has nothing to do with it. So stop blaming any shortcomings on not being treated right and start reflecting on what god can change and do in you, despite a spouse. Cause I’m sure men would be much better Christian men if their wives just submitted. But we aren’t let off the hook if they don’t. So it doesn’t matter.

I watch people, all the time. I see men walking in front of their wives, or girlfriends.The greater the distance, the lesser she is valued it appears. I often, also see men walk ahead of the woman, who is far behind with the children. I know "walking" isn't a big deal.... And we could say he's walking in front of them to protect them... but I don't think that's it. When you're out in public next time, watch this... Well i guess im in a fix. This man pretended to get saved and this is what he told me after marring me. Because i told him at the foolish age of sixteen years old that I would not marry him unless he was saved. But this is what my grandmother told me to say. I didn't want to marry him and told my mother this. I told her i didn't love him and didn't know what love was. My mother however thought if i didn't she would end up with a pregnant teenager. Well that would not have happened because my grandmother scared me to death of men and the only thing they wanted but at that age I still didn't understand what she ment. It just sounded awful and i wanted nothing to do with men. So now I have lived through this unsaved man who believes i should be a doormat for fourty nine years. I'm sixty five years old now and the bible says if you are married to an unbeliever and he wants to stay then don't leave because he could be saved by watching you as you serve Christ Jesus. It has been such a battle for me and i sometimes thought I would lose my mind. But God has been faithful to hold me together.

'Men lead your wives' - My wife is not a Christian, and has changed over the years since we got married, becoming more and more worldly (unless she was already more worldly than I had first noticed). She has absolutely not interest in talking or listening about the Word. When I do talk about the Sunday service an invisible vail of 'I'm not listening' covers her'. I don't talk much to my wife about the Word or our bible study or the Sunday service. She may see me as a weak person (I'm a gentle person) as do my best in all situation's, I am forgiving, I attend Church and bible study, I pray, I look out for my neighbour, My wife tries to make these things difficult for me. By my own behaviour to be an example, so as to keep my marriage and my hope for my wife to come to one day come to Christ, I feel I shouldn't go against my wife (so as to keep the peace), I don't go against my wife very much so as to just to keep the peace, I go and do things (eg help my neighbour) without her knowledge. when I do the right actions my wife judges my actions from her worldly understanding of self-protection, self-fulfilment, self-gain... praise from others is very important to my wife. If someone jumped out a bush to attack us and before I could move, my wife would get the first punch in. Please pray for us.
