I really needed this. My son severed ties with me knowing I was going through cancer treatments. He was being extremely disrespectful and drama followed him. He is very entitled and acts like he's entitled to be disrespectful. This reinforced my thoughts on all of this. However because he left me hi & dry when I needed him the most & his level of disrespect, I will give him all the space he needs. Thank God I'm cancer free. Living well is my goal.

Oh my thank you for teaching on this topic! My mothers love has always been conditional and only loved us if we did exactly what she wants us to do. I’ve always felt not good enough and invisible to my mother my whole life but it taught me what not to do with my daughter. Even if I don’t agree with my daughters behavior or whatever else it may be it could never take my love away. I want her to always know she’s loved. Please talk more about this! Bless you pastor! ❤️

I want to say thank you as well PASTOR BLAKES. There is so much going on with the family. I gave birth to three incredible children. And due to the some choice's that I made I often feel this deep pain inside of me that I have failed them. Not only them, also all of family members involved with them. I would have 4 more, and listening to influence of some family, and fear I had I had abortions. In which the enemy tormented me for 30 years about. Along with flat out disobedience, addiction, love abuse, from not only family, also from myself. I often hear family and even though I do not see them I get encouraged to keep trying and keep going forward without shame, guilt, and regret have it's way with me. Well at least MY MAJESTY IS TRAINING ME UP. at times, and this helps me to be encouraged to keep going, to meet the full potential of the QUEEN THAT GOD WANTS ME TO BE. I KNOW AND BELIEVE THAT THE LORD IS PREPARING ME FOR. I am hoping to have another chance to someday be able to build, and bond with them, and meet some of my family I feel that's been so good to Genesis and Captain, and done, and do the best they can. I THANK THE LORD FOR THEM ALL IN CHRIST JESUS NAME AMAN AMEN. I agree with you on allowing all of them to be able to make decisions, and choice's in life. And will always love, and forgive, and embrace them. Do my best to encourage, and currently am only allowed to do that not too often with my first daughter Peri. I want to be a member of The New Home Family Worship Center . And want to thank all of you again. I tried again to SEW that 56$KINGDOMSEED. Would not go through again. Frustrated me much. I have an appointment today, and my mother's not doing well. My step dad is not either, or my brother. And I am not able to help them effectively with a connection to THE LORD. Or anything for that matter, it hurts so much. PASTOR BLAKES AND FIRST LADY AND CHURCH FAMILY WOULD YOU ALL PLEASE PRAY FOR ME AND ALL OF THE FAMILY, AND THANKYÓU ALL SO MUCH daughter Peri , Genesis, and a son Captain. I am also praying for you all as well. And please tell your brother thank you for all the help yesterday. Oh yes please forgive me for this being so long? Will not be sending them so long next time.

THis is soooo gooooooddddd. I talk with my kids about this often. I allow them to hold me accountable and the rules go both ways. We all need to be who God has called us to be but are always called to love each other. I am thankful for the peace in our home. As I have did my work and stay true to emotional health it has rubbed off on the kids. So many of us have been broken even from the best homes. I tell my kids I love them and hug them EVERY morning and evening. I THANK GOD for blessing me with these gifts. God has asked me to steward this role well and I'm committed.

Amen Pastor Blakes! I need to hear this today. My son has cut me off from his life because his wife doesn't like me...long story. He doesn't call, he doesn't text, he doesn't answer his phone. My texts do get through and so I periodically let him know, we love him, we miss him, and we hope he is well. I do not abuse the fact that my texts get through. This is not the situation I would like, but it is what I have, and I will take the blessing that I can at least get that message to him. Growing up is hard and growing older is too, we are all on this earth learning and relying on God. Bless you for making this video.

Pastor Blacks . May the good Lord increase you in what you do for him and humanity: This short message touched my heart. Now my oldest son stopped communicating to me and block me from his social media. Just a an argument between me and him because I told him that he should talk to me with respect because he do take care of me financially. He does it frequently that I felt that I felt I being 🎉humiliated most of the time as I became as a Slave to him either you shot up or I will not help you anymore. So I told him that I hv heard enough from him and will not take it any of that. So we hv stopped talking even on my 78th birthday he did not call me and did not invite me on his birthday in October. So I just let him since he told me that he is going to take a break because that’s was what he told me. This is since May this yr. Blessings to you Pastor. I am still praying for I know that God will touch his heart on his timeline. I know still love him and was my best friend but Ihe is very unforgiving and likes to keep groudge .

Thanks, pastor! It can also go the other way. Children can disapprove of their parents’ lifestyles, and find it difficult to be close to them. I appreciate your point that sometimes when children know you don’t approve of their lifestyles, they can think of themselves as an embarrassment and imposition to you. That can also apply in the reverse.
