- You can't make a sound relationship decision, until you're in a place where you can live without this relationship. No desperation. - You're not obligated to give a chance, if you don't want to. 1. He gives u space without trying to manipulate your decision. 2. He doesn't have a history of the same behaviour. It was a one-off lapse of judgement. 3. Owns his mistake entirely without an excuse 4. And learning from mistakes I've completely changed.. but now she has drama and pain she needs to heal from as I assist that I now question myself for being a good guy because women don't want good guys these days and loving her kids all my own standing by her side doing all her pregnancies but she wants to have fun. I was her first... And after me she's been having fun but two additional kids came out of it listening to friends of hers and not having the right support and thinking I'm just saying it because it's me and oh that's just you because you wanna be with me like naw I'm your friend first before anything else but what don't learn until we don't have....

Sir, the analogy of signing the lease is spot on. I was a 14+ years Fiancé before I walked away. I lived liked a dedicated wife, ran a home liked a wife, while he implanted himself into my family who lived out of state. Interestly, his parents lived a 10 mins. drive and I've never went to there house or mingled with them. When I bring up the topic he make me feel as if I was asking too much. The worst part, he lied constantly, it was draining.

I really dislike when people say “forgive and forget” because that sounds more like “pretend like it didn’t happen and let’s resume.” Or not taking accountability. You are correct Pastor. People make you feel as though you are bitter or not forgiving because you don’t want to have a person in your life anymore. I really dislike that because it’s not true. You can wholeheartedly forgive a person but not be interested in a relationship and that goes for all types of relationships….not just romantic/significant others.

Mr. RC!! I literally broke down in tears at minute 35.30!! So many times I was told I'm sorry I cheated - again- but you were always tired from work, sorry I cheated again but you were not emotionally available, sorry I cheated again but that one time when my feelings were hurt from a joke, you pushed me away and made me cheat.. every time a new affair was discovered, it was always a reason it was my fault.. I didn't know what it was I needed to hear, until I heard those words at minute 35.30 - I'm sorry I hurt you, and you did not DESERVE IT.. Me and the narcissist ex have been separated 3 months, and I now have one week with no contact.. I was afraid I would get weak, but I have now vowed to come back to this video and listen to it each time I consider giving another chance to someone who could NEVER once say, "I'm sorry I hurt you and you did NOT DESERVE it.". Thank you for allowing GOD to speak to me this evening, through your words.. I did not know how to process all these fake apologies, and you have helped to make it evident none of them were indicative of true repentance or regret..

Where I’ve found the most peace? I give children and pets that are still learning multiple chances at certain things. Adults? Especially my age, I do not. A very sage person told me, “By your accepting poor behavior, they will never learn and think another chance might be had. Nothing states the lesson more than being left alone to dwell upon one’s transgressions.” I finally put this to use.. with everyone. You will never go to bed questioning your value. They won’t question it either.

I just ended a long-term substitute teaching at a school that is very dysfunctional. I found myself constantly being disrespected by the parents and the principal who repeatedly brushed it off with the response," parents disrespected me when I was a teacher." I kept dismissing my need for standards and boundaries with immature/irresponsible/misinformed parents and unprofessionalism of several people on his staff until I realized and had to accept that not only is he I experienced but the standards and expectations he has for how adults, educators (including teachers) does not align with who I am as a person or professional. The longer I stayed the list more and more HE started to devalue me. It was very strange to experience it happening. Just by being physically present sent a (subliminal)message to people that I was OK with being mistreated. Leaving was the ONLY way to preserve the respect I had for myself.

Everything you are saying is what I was doing. Was blowing up her phone, sending flowers, letters... Though I cant comprehend why I was doing it at the time I realized I was operating out of fear. Now I've accepted the situation and I understand that she deserves that time to get her mind right. It was selfish of me and ultimately I never want her to feel as I dont care enough to let her freely make her own decisions.

Pastor Blakes, thank you for your guidance and love for others, you are a blessing, you n God saved me. I’m still going through a divorce n I have my days that I miss “the good “of my ex husband, but I’m aware I’m woke. God did want to protect me, should have never had a conversation with my soon to be ex, I’m thankful for my children and I pray to God to lift my spirit, to increase my faith and for our relationship to be first and foremost. You have strengthened me you have no idea. I love you with all of my heart, ❤ Erin

I’m not even sure if he will see or read this! But I have been going through this very thing for 30 years, as a matter of fact I’ve been away from my home for nearly 4 months but the familiar has happened yet again! I didn’t prepare myself so I’m out and about with no clue how or where to start! So been contemplating going back home, even though things keep happening to keep me from returning home! Thank you for this word sir Counseling is definitely needed
