Serious question why the dopest all female bands come from Japan? Not including “the warning” of course 😝

"That drummer's badass" and she is. Haruna (drums) along with Miho (bass) formed Lovebites in 2015 after their previous killer band Destrose broke up. The female J-metal bands are addicting as hell!

I can not take the operatic singing style .... as a guitarist, I appreciate and love the guitar talent, but that excessive vibrato singing - aiiiiiiiiii - just can't stand it. I'll take Band Maid any day because the singer is so much better

Two of the best metal guitarists out there today...and then we have the drummer! Haruna is a monster, a beast behind those drums! Great reaction, keep it up!

@Aratha Sena Neither group is all-female. There are plenty of groups with female singers, going back to Renaissance.

@Aratha Sena hey, no apology needed! those were still interesting suggestions. I had not heard Dialith before.

@@hiawatha.g It was! They were club gigs, so I got to hang out with them afterwards. They like to project a tough "rocker chick" image. But in reality, they were sweethearts. Shhh....don't tell them I said that. lol

Interesting question, isn't it? In such a sexist society, you would never expect this. But a couple of things: All Japanese students have to study music throughout grade school, and have to learn an instrument. So there is a huge pool of people with real skills. Second, the dynamic between men and women has become really weird. People don't date, don't get married (one reason the population there is declining fast). The girls can pretty much do what they want, so instead of playing polite music, they would rather burn down the house. I hope that helps explain it.

That "sexist" society has hundreds of female rock bands, the greatest female comic book artists and the most kickass female pro wrestlers.

Why do the dopest female bands come from Japan? Two reasons... 1) They love American culture, especially Rock and Metal Culture.... 2) They don't like/understand RAP, so they flock toward rock and metal... thank god for good taste. (Sorry, can you tell I HATE Rap/Hip Hop and think it has sucked the soul out of, and ruined popular music?)
@Kkamp4 жыл бұрын
I agree to all your points tbh I don’t keep up with rap myself anymore, whatever I hear on social media is what I know. 😅
@krash664 жыл бұрын
@Aratha Sena I agree. Love RATM. The soul left music when computer rhythm tracks and autotune came in. It ruined not just Hip Hop but also the whole Rock genre. POP then became soulless and Hip Hop took over where Rock had been. That's why I love The Warning... they bringing back REAL stripped down, in your face Rock! And it's so catchy it can almost be called pop.
@michaelmusson35934 жыл бұрын
totally agree on your dislike of rap with one exception I thought I could never like any rap inspired music until I heard Maximum and the Hormones
