Yes, they flew in and then came to the venue incognito. I thoroughly enjoyed the Lovebites concert in Dallas, TX. Had a great time with everyone and thought the concert went extremely well, given the issues that happened before the band hit the stage. IMHO, the band blew the doors off the building...IT ROCKED 💯%! Thanks for the news guys, glad you both had incredible moments with the band, and really appreciate all of your hard work. Take care, keep rocking on, and much respect!🤘

I didn’t know about Miyako's situation. During the sound check, Midori actually said aloud, 'I can’t play like this!!' when she was having a huge issue on stage. I was like, holy shixx! She wouldn’t be able to perform? Since she sounded dead serious and upset, I was watching the situation really worried. In contrast, the LA concert seemed to go fine without any problems. When I finally got a picture taken with them, I congratulated them on finally having a U.S. tour. They thanked us for all our support. I was really glad that Asami said she saw me in the crowd in Dallas and LA. Overall, the Lovebites members seemed really happy about finally touring the U.S. Great job everyone❣️🤘

13 songs in LA. I think they shortened the set to let Asami rest. The set list was hand written instead of their usual printout. No risers or monitors in LA, but no barriers. You could literally reach out and touch them.

Lovebites toured the US and Euro on bare shoestrings. They are playing like some glorified garage band with no technical support. I saw them in London and Miyako did all the sound, system equipment check. These talented ladies were amazing and sounded great despite the hardship. Much respect for their talent and determination to put on a great show. They deserve far better.

Attended the tokyo garden theatre show. A garden show usually gets an accompanying concert film . So its not a secret and can confirm we are getting a blu-ray-live MVs . Another fan on dicodec already mentioned this show they went out into the pit. also this stage layout had a runway and raised platforms .the girls ran all over the place for this one and it showed too. they literally broke a sweat on this one. Jrock fans must make the trek to see these bands on home field. The full shows are hard to beat especially a lovebites production.

Hello friend, I have been following you (I have followed you) for years. I love seeing you together with these goddesses from Japan. Greetings from a member of the wolf pack from Spain, where I have enjoyed their beauty and talent a couple of times. I'm looking forward to seeing your reaction video to the performance of my beloved Lovebites. a very big hug.

You touched on an issue to which some are insensitive: the jet lag, the very compressed concert schedules, plus playing in unfamiliar venues where there many technical issues abound. Greater recognition and accolades are in order for their stamina and endurance to play and sing with such intensity ... and yes they are women, not men. So let's recognize and appreciate how much energy they all expend on this maiden US tour, especially Haruna, Asami, and those twin guitars ... in addition to being jetlagged, and with little technical support compared to whey they're on their home turf. I hope that more Americans fans appreciate the enormous effort it took for these Japanese ladies to show up on our turf, and then gave it their best in despite many challenges, are deserving of the highest accolades.

Since Fami coming in the band, they move a lot more. Almost like the old days when Miyako stood on stage right with Miho. Plus it was nice meeting you.

As for Asami not feeling well from the start, I must say she blew the roof off in Atlanta! This is not me being on an emotional high, it is just a fact. I listened closely to her vocals in the most strenuous songs for her, the chorus of "Stand and Deliver", clean and pitch perfect (I'm amazed she can sing this one, period), chorus and finale of "Judgement Day", (she hit the final run so well I was shaking!), all of "SSS", and of course the whole damn song "Holy War"! It was the next to last song, and after all the vocal leaps it contains, she had breath left to hold the final note a full 8 measures, twice that of the studio version. I believe any recordings from ProgPower will back me up. I was left in awe, not only of Asami, but of the whole band of course.

Saw the Atlanta show as well and despite the initial sound problems (could barely hear the guitars the first few songs and drums were muddy as well) eventually everything got dialed in and they sounded great. Asami sounded the best I've ever heard her, better than even any of their professionally recorded shows. Also setlist was a meaty 16 songs while it looks like other cities are getting less - unfortunate.
@anthonypowell6234Ай бұрын
@@vincentfalcone9218 From my vantage point in front of Midori & Fami, the guitars and vocal mix came around probably before the end of the first song. There were other individual issues, especially Midori, but none stopped the flow or hindered the music much at all. Top notch!

As a resident of Tokyo I went to the Tokyo gig September 1. I think that should be LOVEBITES' biggest crowd and/or venue so far. Not counting festivals of course and this Tokyo venue had four balconies on top of the floor so five floors in all, I think almost the same seat capacity as Budokan. I had a seat on the floor, kind of unfortunately on the extreme left end so I had to look to the right the whole time. But it turned out to be a winner seat in a way since when the girls went out into the crowd during Raise Soem Hell I ended up standing right next to a shredding Midori for some ten seconds. Loved the concert. You can check out my recording of SSS on my channel

Yes, there was merch. I was next to the stage and the merch was at the other end of the venue. Sorry I have no details on what was available. I did see a long line of people to buy stuff.

Interesting comment about Miyako equipment problem in Texas. I saw the group last night in LA. Miyako stopped playing twice to fix some issue--and she didn't look happy about it...

@@donborsick That could be a house engineer. I don't know. But from what I heard, they only had one other staff who did photos and general support. In Euro they ever sent out help from fans to move equipment. Regardless, this is a bare bone tour.

Yeah jetlag is nasty. I fly to my Vietnam home from Finland often. Around 16-20h flight and I am totally exhausted for the next few days. This year I got fever once, while flying, because immune system was struggling.

I spotted in their Tokyo show that they have stopped wearing high heals, and wear different type of shoes that is more comfortable to walk around. I'm not sure if they started doing this for the EU tour, but I also spotted that in the Unchained video. So I guess this either because of the short time between the show, or they just want to move more around, without the risk of getting hurt. They moved a lot more than usual in Tokyo Garden.

Hey guys! Akane here. Alan, I met you at Band-maid at the Belasco! I just got back from the Linkin Park LA show. It was amazing and she sang and fit better than I anticipated. Her rendition of My December was just perfection and her screaming on Keys to the Kingdom was kind of jaw dropping. Her debut surprise show was a little shaky but she was already better at the first show. I imagine it was the pressure and nerves.

This is just my guess, but Asami-san may have been drinking more water than usual and had a dry throat because the humidity was lower than in Japan.🤔 Even in such an environment, Asami-san has managed to complete three shows in a short period of time.😈👍💘😍 <Below are Miyako-san's comments after her live performance.> "Thank you Dallas!!!🇺🇸 I couldn't hear anything through the in-ear monitors or the wedges, so I gave up, but then I could hear a faint sequence and a click through the in-ear monitors, and I managed to push it for 20 minutes😂🤘 I think I may have improved again!!!" At their first live show in the UK, all the members had problems with their in-ear monitors. The stage was small, they didn't use guitar wireless, there were guitar cords all over the floor and there was barely any space to step on. There were a lot of wireless problems on this overseas tour, so I think they need to find out the cause by the next time.
