This is one of their slower, tamer songs. They also have a ballad called Epilogue which is one of the best ballads in the past 20-30 years. Miyako plays classical piano, guitar, acoustic guitar, bass and drums, sings and composed half of their songs. Asami singer plays piano, Midori plays guitar and piano, Miho who is the band leader plays bass, guitar and drums, drummer Haruna who is 4"10 I believe plays drums, guitar and bass, so yup they are definitely the most talented group out there right now. Oh and they do overhand dual guitar tapping in perfect sync while on catwalk looking all glamorous. Them and Band-Maid sure deserve way more recognition than what they have right now.

miyako is simply one of the best musicians on earth. as amazing as she is on guitar she's even better on the keyboards and writes just about all of their songs. too much talent for me to handle. and quite the beauty on top of it all. it just ain't fair ! best band on earth. miyako and midori's solos are legendary. just about every song on 4 cd's over the last 4 years have similar face melting solos- best team of axe players out there. synchronization is perfect - and damn this is live ! all of these ladies are trained musicians and it shows. all are veterans of previous bands and can be defined as a supergroup imo. i call them the supermodel samurai shredders !

Miyako started piano at 3 years old, then switched to guitar at 18. She's now 30. All of them are multi-instrumentalists. Miho the Bassist also drums. This song is great because you hear Miyako and Miho's vocals backing Asami. It takes me back to my teens in the 1980s. It reminds me a bit of Vixen.

Thanks for this info on the band! I just discovered them a couple months ago. I'm 49 and this music takes me back to my Metal love as a teen in the 80's. Right now, Lovebites is like all I want to listen to...these ladies are amazing!! Do you have any other info on Asami, Haruna and Midori....like how old they are and how they started out in music??? I would really appreciate an info you might have or how I might be able to read up more on the how they got started. Who knew all this amazing Metal and Rock was coming out of Japan!
@pervangtoft21844 жыл бұрын
I can tell you that the drummer Haruna and the bass player Miho started in a group called Destrose (there are a couple of videos of their songs here on KZbin just search Destrose). Destrose was also an all-female heavy metal band that never got much recognition on their own, but they spawned some great musicians who went on to form groups like Lovebites, Mary`s Blood and Fate Gear.

Subscribed in the name of Lovebites! Haven't seen this posted - a totally different first time experience when you can follow the lyrics clearly (startin' when the guitars kick in): Memories I can't erase still haunting me Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes Falling down Breaking heart A growing addiction Just let me go away Just let me go my way Just let me go, I won't become a doll you control I'm losing sight of me I'm losing sight of you I'm losing sanity and I don't know how I will go on Nothing new, pretending not to know the truth Rendezvous, without emotion or heart I won't show how weak and sad I am inside Even though I know it's just silly pride Empty room Endless rain The end of a daydream You never call my name You never feel the same You never make me feel like I deserve any love I'm waiting for the dawn I'm waiting for the time I'm waiting for my bleeding heart to heal, so I can go on Memories I can't erase still haunting me Silently you stare with cold, empty eyes Falling down Breaking heart A growing addiction Empty room Endless rain The end of a daydream Just let me go away Just let me go my way Just let me go, I won't become a doll you control I'm losing sight of me I'm losing sight of you I'm losing sanity and I don't know how I will... You never call my name You never feel the same You never make me feel like I deserve any love I'm waiting for the dawn I'm waiting for the time I'm waiting for my bleeding heart to heal, so I can go on

Yeah guys Lovebites the best all female power metal band in the world at the moment. They are the winners of 2018 in category for best new metal band,and their last album Electric pentagram is nominated for one of the best 20 metal albums for 2020 year. You have to check some songs from their last concert Five of kind in Zepp Diversity Tokyo from this year. Songs like Thunder vengeance, Holly war, Dancing with the devil, Swan song ( but extended version with Miyako's piano intro video is 8 minutes long). And if you want to see more guitar harmonies just check songs, We the United, Shadowmaker ( live version from Five of kind in the 2020) Signs of deliverance, Rising. All the concert is mind blowing stuff. Enjoy it

I also strongly recommend one of their earliest songs 'Scream for Me'. Midori, (the guitarist with blond hair and playing the ESP), only started to play guitar at 20, she is now late twenties. Miyako, the only band member open about her age is thirty. You probably did not notice that they all (except the drummer) play in 4inch high heels ! Miyako who is playnig the Dean also plays a mean bass and composes more than half their songs and writes the arrangements for guitars, bass, piano and drums. Quote from an interview with Lovebites before their first gig outside Japan in London in late 2017. Journalist: So, originally there were four of you, and then Mi-Ya (Miyako) came and joined. Now that she’s not here, you can talk about her behind her back, what has she brought to the band? LOVEBITES: So in terms of creating music or arranging, she’s really talented in that. So in the process of creating the music, her presence is really huge. She was almost like a member even from the start. So without her, there wouldn’t be any LOVEBITES.

Imagine Helloween, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Metallica, Blind Guardian all together. Thats what they are-best metal band in the world right now. They play heavy metal, power, thrash, progressive and all of that is amazing. And yes, every song has dual solo and shredding that puts all male metal bands in shame. These girls are above all metal bands today. You aint see nothing yet haha

Yay!!!! I've been urging you guys to do more Lovebites since your reaction to "When Destinies Align." Like Band-Maid, they are one of the rare groups that are even better live. You could have asked a bunch of comic-book artists to design a band of alien superheroes, disguised as beautiful women who use music to battle darkness, and they could not have come up with this. It's really insane. Loved the looks on your faces as they kept upping the ante!

Lovebites is just exceptional and indeed phenomenal. Their individual skills are scary good, but of course one of the biggest highlight is the double shredder Mido-Miya. Haruna the drummer is the smallest of them all, sometimes it looks that she cannot reach the higher parts of her drums (lol) but she slays the drums like nobody's business. Thanks for the reaction, do more Lovebites please!!

here i go again trying to get endless reactions on my favorite band. you will see many recommendations for a lot of songs from them. and i would say don't pass up any opportunity to be melted. this and the song M.D.O. are my 2 favorites from the clockwork cd. but 2 songs you really need to see and hear are also live versions. start with 'scream for me' to see some of their best guitar work that you won't believe. then try 'signs of deliverance' for more of the same. and 'we the united' is another winner. and if you want to see miyako really kill the piano the long version of 'swan song'. all live . we the lovebitten will keep you very busy.

My next suggestions are “Thunder vengeance”, “Swan song”, “Dancing with the devil”, “Break the wall”, “Hammer of wrath”, “Shadowmaker”, “Signs of deliverance”, “Epilogue” and “Edge of the world”. All of them live (avoid “Bloodstuck” concert because of bad audio.

Nice, glad you dug it. At 18, with 15yrs experience, she nearly chose a classical piano career. But picked up guitar instead, just over 10yrs experience in this vid. I love that this show was only ~14months after their live debut (in London, always in English, they’d been prepping a year tho). Their 2020 show was a full year “better”, you can tell. Can’t wait to see if we get next, if ~2.5 yrs this past feb was nearly perfect, how will they be when they tour their upcoming 4th full length in the states a year from now?! And remember, this is their idea of a ballad. Try their Whitesnakeish Dancing with the Devil live, or symphonic Slayerish Thunder Vengance, maiden Crusade, unique Holy Wars, Helloweenish When Destinies Align, classicalish Swan Song, progish mood twister Under the Red Sky... Enjoy 🤘💃🏻🎸😎 Or Hammer of Wrath (megadeth?), or Break the Wall (80s Metallica plus GaryMoore of ThinLizzy), or a true ballad Epilogue... they’re all good I guess 😉

All these women play different instruments but Miyako is a concert pianist level performer and master shredder and harmonizer with Midori on the other guitar. Lest we forget Haruna the 4' 8" battle beast on drums driving this band from start to finish. This is typical for these women, complicated chords, shredding and harmonizing and at speeds that are insane and flawlessly done, NEVER a mistake!!! Simple, do them LIVE to see what they can really do as they are the best Power metal band right now bar none and they have only been together 3+ years. Another piano/shred song is Swan Song from their 2020 concert check it out and hear Miyako play like a world class pianist then shred it up with Midori before going back to the piano. Miyako now has her own custom Dean guitar, hey but Midori is just as epic although more flashy. Asami the bluesy vocalist has gotten so much better especially LIVE and a great front woman for this band. Great reaction and I love the faces and open mouths during this song, you guys are one of the best reaction channels going !!! Miho the bassist and Haruna came over from the great Destrose band but wanted to do more of a European metal sound (Iron Maiden/Judas Priest mixed with Dragon Force but brought to another level) with English vocals...task accomplished!!!!

The reason I think this is good is that it shows off the great talent of the band members. It shows all the members being able to shine.
