Lovebites play “happy metal”, you nailed it. No posing, posturing or attitude. They’re a breath of fresh air and they’ve taken me over, music wise. I haven’t played anything else in the 3 months since I discovered them. There will come a point you won’t either. Great reaction.. a happy reaction!

Yes ... and no. Many of their songs are actually quite dark or sad - but yes there's always positivity in it in the end. Still, songs like Journey to The Otherside or Swan Song are definitly not "happy" music. But in general they definitly bring happiness though.

Those girls have made their way into my top list next to Nightwish, Within Temptation, Epica, Ancient Bards and Vandroya in the last year. And especially the guitar work is out of this world, and also Miyakos piano skills (Chopin Etitude -> Swan Song) are fantastic. I know a lot of people (including me) first have some problems with Asamis vocals. For that you should also check out "Edge of the World" and "Epilogue". Those songs start a little slower and so Asami can show a bit more of what she can do beside just the pure power metal vocals. And both are also really masterpieces.

What a difference from your first review of Lovebites, it looks like you got over Asami’s Japanese accent. I was reading the English captions not realizing they were performing in English . I still hunt down videos that have English captions to learn the music.

Hey, another great reaction to these metal goddesses! This song is their latest release and is the single for their upcoming mini-album that is coming in 3 days on March 10th. The lyrics are very nice, very positive and the song in general also gives me that positive uplifting vibe, full of energy too. The solos + guitar harmonies section of this song is just unbelievably good, straight into my ears! I'm not a religious guy, but if there is a Metal heaven that's where these girls come from! Love how it looks like they borrowed Galneryus's Church where they did Angel of Salvation (kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKTMant7or-fb7s), and was waiting for Syu their awesome guitar player to join the M & M show (what a guitar session and clinic that would be) (LOL)!!! The usual great backbone of Miho/bass and Haruna/drums driving this song. The M & M show again in all their glory, honestly they are most dynamic duo playing today especially LIVE. All that said this was Asami's shine time and her R & B/Jazz/Soul background really comes out here. Finally, to prove men do notice ......love Midori's new hair style, Miho's new hair color, Asami's new highlights and new style.... Another great effort and positive message even the MV has that relentless drive for perfection clearly in it. New LP coming out 3/10 let's see what the insanely talented women have in store for us even if it is only a few gems they will still be epic!!

It is a very new release to the awaiting new EP coming out very soon, this song was written and composed by Midori and Mao, with lyrics done by Asami the vocalist. The song is an inspirational uplifting song that Midori when she visited some churches in America and the UK. I to does have a lot of Christian and religious overtones that encourage us during these dark times of the pandemic. You just made your first mistake assuming that they sound like helloween, you are way off these girls are so much better than them, besides no two bands sound alike but do have influences of a specific genre of rock but that is it. most band stay within their comfort zone and play one style and Lovebites does it all, you will figure this out the more you check them out. These beautiful ladies did an extensive study on the different styles and genres of many rock bands of the '70s and '80s and put it all together and took it to a higher level and a stronger caliber. You really want to see the extent of their amazing talent I strongly suggest their three Prog-rock "E" songs. He said they give off Helloween vibes not that they sounded exactly like them. Just like people also compare them to Iron Maiden sometimes. Nothing wrong with that since they were influenced by these bands and many others. But even with hearing some of those influences in their music, they definitely still sound like Lovebites.

Well they aren’t tainted by insane cancer culture. Their schools focus on education and not social abnormalities that break down and destroy culture. They pretty much do the opposite of what the UK and America do
