In my 50+ years of listening to metal, this is my all-time favorite song. And in this case, as great as Lovebites is live, the studio version/music video takes this song to greater heights. It's stunning how they perform this song live, but just like this version a tad better. Point/click/win - you cannot do any wrong. This was the first OMV (for the first song and headliner of the new album) from "LOVEBITES 2.0" with the new line-up with bassist Fami. We were all waiting for LOVEBITES to do this epic song live, and we didn''t have to wait long. Less than three weeks after the release of the album, they've played this live, which was later released as "Knockin' At Heaven's Gate" (and "Knockin' At Heaven's Gate - Part II" for the Sunday show). 4 live songs of Part I and 2 live songs (until now) were released as a live video on LOVEBITES' KZbin channel, you'll find "Judgement Day (live 2023)" there!

The Japanese metal/rock scene is the best in the world currently, especially the all female groups (Lovebites, Nemophila, Band-Maid Hanabie & others). They are the best metal band tpday IMO. Elite musicians and an elite singer. The 2 guitarists, Midori & Miyako, are the best duo I've seen in 50 yrs of listening to metal. Dive deeper, they never disappoint.

As others have said, they just released a live version of this song in August. Not only that, between I think three live dvd's, like 90% of their songs are covered live. All the videos are here on youtube. You pretty much have to go out of your way NOT to find a live version of any song. LOL. No bad songs. Just songs you personally like better than others.

Lovebites don't have any bad song. So whatever song you pick will be a good one, especially if you use the live videos. However if I would recommend you one particular song to check out, it is "Breat the wall". It is one of their heavier songs, but above all, it is one of their most thrash metal songs.
