Great reaction ! "Holy War" was from a different concert in 2020, while this was from 2021 during the pandemic, and this show was COVID-restricted which was why you could only hear the crowd clapping at the end.

They are incredible. Midori & Miyako are among the best guitar duos I've seen/heard ever. Elite level musicians. Tip of the iceberg with these ladies, they just get more impressive as you dive deeper. I'll being seeing them 4 times in September.

Miyako is a Dean artist and has her own signature Dean V. She does play "Authentic" sometimes and has an arsenal of Gibsons. Midori is an ESP artist and mostly plays E-ll Horizons.🤘🐺🤘 I'll be at the LA show myself.

It was a surprise to me finding this out but this was the first time they'd played this song live. To look at it on the album listing it's somewhere about 2/3rds of the way through, almost a lost track in the flow where I would've normally expected this to be one of the main songs based on the album. You have to love it don't you..

In less than 3 months, I am seeing Lovebites at ProgPower in Atlanta. They will be releasing their new EP a week or so prior. I am hoping for a live song debut at ProgPower. Set The World On Fire was composed by Miyako (stage left guitarist) with lyrics by Asami, the vocalist. Although a great song, I don't have it in my top 5 Miyako compositions - Shadowmaker (from the debut album, Awakening From Abyss), When Destinies Align (from my favorite Lovebites album, Electric Pentagram), Swan Song (also from Electric Pentagram), Dystopia Symphony (from the Glory, Glory To The World EP), and Soldier Stands Solitarily (from the most recent album, Judgement Day).

Saw them last week in a tiny 300 person venue, was great. They have sooooooo many bangers, around 50 or so. They only have about 6 - 7 songs total that don't hit for me, which is a ridiculously good ratio, hence why they have become my favourite band, just a numbers game. If you want to hit the trifecta of bad-ass all women japanese rock/metal bands, highly recommend Nemophila - Oiran Official Live video as a starting point for another group. Much like the contrast between Band-Maid and Lovebites, Nemophila also does their own very different thing. And if you want to see how hard they can go their live video for Zen is another banger.

Great band but since you have done Lovebites and Band Maid you only have done 2 of the big 4 female Japanese bands. Still need Nemophila-Oiran live and Hanabie-We Love Sweets mv. Many, hell most of the fans of 1 of these bands will also be fans of the other 3. All great and all way different. Nemophila and Hanabie both like Lovebites are metal bands. If you want metal females outside Japan Crypta from Brazil is the most exciting death metal band I have heard since Death.
