The new bassist, Fami (20 y.o.,) has brought new energy and help up the game of the band. Asami's vocals has likewise also been elevated and the result is the new LB. Same old M&M show on guitars. Midori still rocks on her ESPs and acoustic guitar while Miyako kills it on her Dean's, Les Paul or acoustic guitar. Glad you are back to the music reactions missed the fun reaction and good analysis. Japanese women in particular are just dominating the music scene today especially in Metal/Rock.

@Eyeosphere00 Both Midori and Miyako are learning from each other. They were great before this cooperative effort but now they are the best dual lead out there. Any band would kill for one of them and LB has both of them. Now add Fami and Haruna along with Asami and as my friends say it it is so unfair it should be illegal. Yeah except the pool of talented women musicians in Japan is a endless rabbit hole.

yes, they have evolved. this band has no peer. miyako plays her main guitar: a dean icon, in faded denim, which she (the guitar nerd, that she is and with a little help from her friendly guitartech) has modified with fishman active PUs and new capacitators from ovaltone. thanks for your fine reaction. stick with them. it´s very rewarding.

Great reaction. Your second try to pronounce Hanabie is correct. "bi" of bit + "e" of end. "Hana bi-e". It means flower chill which is a cold weather in spring, the cherry blossom season.

If I recall correctly, you guys (Office Blokes React) did Thunder Vengeance live and you commented (after the curtain drop) that it reminded you of Slayer who were one of your favorites. You are correct, Hanabie is pronounced ha-na-be-eh, four syllables. Unlike with English, there are no diphthongs in Japanese, so each vowel is pronounced as a distinct syllable. There are a few exceptions where a vowel is simply silent, but this is not the case for Hanabie.
