This song is so fun, you almost don't realize that it's 8 minutes long. I absolutely love that they can play such amazing pieces that sound like the perfect marriage between Metal and Classical music. Great reaction.

Miyako also has a CD that came out this year where she did cover songs on the Piano. Metallica's Battery is awesome as are the other 5 songs she does. The backing track is of course performed by Miyako. She operates the footswitch at the perfect time to play the pre-recorded sound.

It's very likely that the backing tracks are pre-loaded, and they are on a 'click track' that plays in the ladies' in-ear pieces. (It's how they make sure that lights, lasers and fire happen when they're supposed to). There are audible clicks that all of the girls can hear to help keep them together.

I was sure she played it and I defiantly know about click tracks and completely understand why they're used. Her guitar work is so good and loved the solo, but I would love to see a version where she stayed on the piano the whole song and played a solo on the piano to replace her dual with Midori.

Miyako is a VIRTUOSO on BOTH piano and guitar. In addition to playing both instruments, she also composed & arranged this song. Yes, the backing track for the chorus was necessary for the completeness of this song and Miyako had to record that separately since she can't be playing both instruments LIVE at the same time. Having said that, she is crazy talented enough to play BOTH instruments simultaneously LIVE in this song - "Burden of Time" : kzbin.info/www/bejne/aoCll5J9o52YnNU . I'm convinced that in a few years, the world will get to know Miyako because such a talent like hers is extremely rare.

Yes, Miyako is a concert level classical pianist; she practiced piano since 3 years old. Two backing tracks in this song: one is for the piano in the first part of “Swan song” and then the choir almost at the end of the song. I highly recommend reacting to Miyako’s piano version of Helloween’s “Eagle fly free”, posted on the Lovebites KZbin official channel (I recommend first listening to the original song)

Just great review. You predicted that the dark haired guitarist Miyako was going to go back to piano, good sense. I agree with your opinion about back tracks more than 100%. There are two kinds of backing tracks. One is fake play that pretend playing on back tracks. Many singers do this. Or, letting back tracks play main parts because the musicians are not talented enough. The other kind is just as effects, as you mentioned, to give a little thickness and some extra layers to the sound which is totally fair as a sound maker. Using back tracks as effects is not easy. You need a very good talent and sense of music as a composer or an exceptionally talented arranger. It is the same thing using back tracks instead of real musicians. Using back tracks is not different a bit from hiring extra supporting musicians. It is nonsense to hire and take them to tour just for a little part of a few songs.

Thanks for your reaction. All the ladies, including the new bassist Fami (from October 2022), can play the piano. On the Studio Albums and EPs LOVEBITES, Miyako (brunette / guitars, piano, keyboards, backing vocals) plays piano and keyboards . Since Miyako mainly plays guitars at concerts, she pre-records backing tracks for piano and keyboard parts . For those songs where these parts are needed. In order not to hire another support musician who will play piano/keyboard parts at concerts. LOVEBITES - 'Bravehearted' ('Daughters of the Dawn~Live in Tokyo 2019')

I’m so happy you reacted to this song. I love everyone in this band and their individual talents are off the charts. However, I’m personally a huge Miyako fan. This may sound trite to many, but it’s not just listening to a world class pianist and guitarist. All of them are at the top of their musicianship. I simply can’t get over her onstage persona. This reference may be too old, but it’s similar to Iceman from the original Top Gun. To paraphrase, “I know I’m good. All of you want to be me. None of can come close to my talent.” She just lets her skill speak for herself without being flashy, or arrogant. Great band and I look forward to my first concert a year from now in the US. ❤️🐺

The Chopin piece Miyako (guitar/keyboards) is playing in the intro is "Etude OP10, No. 12" known as the "Revolutionary Etude." In 1831, some officers and citizens rose up against the Polish government, which was under the de facto control of the Russian Empire, in what was called the "November Revolution" but ended in failure due to the direct intervention of Russian troops. Chopin received this news during a performance tour. He never set foot on the soil of his homeland again. When the Russians invaded Warsaw, Chopin's agent presented "Etude OP10, No. 12" in Paris. Because of the agent's exaggerated publicity, people called this piece "Revolutionary Etude. Miyako composed "Swan Song" based on this "Revolutionary Etude" and Dvorak's "New World Symphony. Asami (vocalist), a former ballerina, wrote the lyrics based on the historical background of "Revolutionary Etude" and inspired by Norse mythology and the ballet suite "Swan Lake. "SwanSong" is a requiem dedicated to the warriors who fought to reclaim their homeland, a masterpiece that only LOVEBITES could complete.Incidentally, Miyako can play bass guitar and drums to some extent, in addition to guitar and keyboards.

ALL LOVEBITES music is released in STEREO, sent from Japan to Finland to be mixed & mastered in stereo specifically for a particular 'sound'. Your video presents their meticulously crafted music in MONO, significantly altering the sound and EXPERIENCE they work hard to produce. Since 1881 (150+ years) it has been known that with stereo "the sound takes a special character of relief and localization which a single receiver cannot produce." Please respect the artist's work when so much effort is put into creating a stereo mix? It matters.

I'm sorry. I do hear the songs as KZbin presents them. Unfortunately my setup doesn't have a way for me to fix the problem. I am working on it but it takes time.
