Yeah mate you just sow the winners of 2018 year in category for best new metal band . Lovebites are the best all female power metal band in the world at the moment. Their last album Electric pentagram is nominated for one of the best 20 metal albums for 2020 year. They are influenced by 80s metal. Lovebites are formed in Tokyo from ex Destrose band members Miho the bassist and composer and Haruna the drummer in 2016. The other members are Asami the vocalist and songwriter, Midori the lead guitarist and backing vocals (now she has blonde hair she start the first solo in the song),and Miyako the other lead guitarist and pianist and composer. You definitely have to check some songs from their last concert Five of kind in Zepp Diversity Tokyo from this year like Thunder vengeance, Holly war, Dancing with the devil, Swan song, Shadowmaker, Break the wall, Hammer of wrath, Rise some hell. You'll be surprised how they sound live. And musicianship between them is unmegerable, they are so talented musicians. And they've got very good relationship between them as well. Enjoy it.

Hey, that was a promotional version unfortunately. Good news is they have tons of awesome songs to discover - Break the Wall, Thunder Vengeance, Holy War, Raise Some Hell, this band is amazing LIVE so go with that. Just make sure to avoid any videos from Bloodstock, audio is terrible. Stay safe.

White dresses was Miho´s idea (bass player and band leader). Because they are really small, the white dresses allow people to see them better on stage. Also nice dress because... the gap between this and the music. Also maybe because is nice to dress cute while you are playing really expensive equipment. One of those guitars cost easily more than 8000$ But Lovebites aren´t really a new "thing". In Japan (they are japanese despise the songs are in english) all female metal bands are not an extrange thing. The most famous years ago where Aldious, another all female metal band (still active) who also dress nice on stage (their bass player is crazy and have an smile measurable in megawatts, oh, and one of the guitars is even more crazy) Japan have pop, rock, metal, punk all-female bands. Just name a genre, must have in Japan one all-female band.

No offense but woman/girl metal groups of different kinds have been around in Europe and asia for certainly 25 years... Sometimes I cant help wonder if you US guys living under a rock. The only things many of you seem to know and refer to is only American bands. I would dare to say the best metal music of any kind ( or gender ) is not coming from USA....But from northern Europe Asia Canada.... This was some years ago I get it.
