Yeah, the timing is off. That sucks. I spent a lot of time on this syncing up the music... and apparently what I saw in editing wasn't how it was saved. Not making that mistake again!

You're right. There's been a few times I've picked up the guitar, thrown on some Lovebites and said to myself: "Let me see if I can figure out what these ladies are doing". After a while it turns into: "I think I've bitten off more than I can chew".

Midori does lessons through ESP usually once a year, even in English, so you could learn from her if you get lucky enough to win a spot. Miyako also does private lessons but I don't think she does them in English though.

LOVEBITES - Thunder Vengeance lyrics: Gods of vengeance Standing in the nightmare The peal of thunder broke me and more When losing my eye The days will pass before me A faded memory of what used to be Death by oblivion (Do it) Deadly criterion (Do it) Flames of despair burning My blood is boiling inside me Death by oblivion (Do it) Deadly criterion (Do it) Inner enraged demon is becoming me Here come days of revenge Until the day the light can reach into my blind eye Lost in the rage These scars are here to tell me that I’m still alive Into the blackness Don’t reveal weakness Hiding my curses, pay off an old grudge Forgotten feelings, other than resentment Don’t even mind giving others pain Damn the redemption (Do it) Drowning confusion (Do it) Doom filled with righteous indignation Where’s my salvation? Damn the redemption (Do it) Drowning confusion (Do it) Does my life have meaning? Am I a speck of dust? I’ve got blood on my hands I want to claw and tear you, rip apart your name Die in the sands Your sins will never be erased or washed away Beaten down but the hatred’s growing Rotten pain that is never healing Only I can end my suffering I won’t kneel down because of yesterday Gods of vengeance Standing in the nightmare The peal of thunder broke me and more When losing my eye The days will pass before me A faded memory of what used to be Death by oblivion (Do it) Deadly criterion (Do it) Flames of despair burning My blood is boiling inside me Death by oblivion (Do it) Deadly criterion (Do it) Inner enraged demon is becoming me Here come days of revenge Until the day the light can reach into my blind eye Lost in the rage These scars are here to tell me that I’m still alive Blood on my hands I want to claw and tear you, rip apart your name Die in the sands Your sins will never be erased or washed away ----- lyrics: miho music: miho & Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)

Once again I enjoyed your reaction. A few months ago I had never even heard of them or Band-Maid or Nemophila, among so many other great Japanese rock bands. Thing is, like Band Maid, and Nemophila, these women are so musically talented. Yet they are so down to earth, friendly. Midori was at NAMM in Anaheim janurary 2020, and played in the Kemper area, as she used Kemper amps. She is so nice, approachable, freindly. Lovebites brings a grace, class to metal, and it is so incredible. The breakdowns. Try Break the wall, live. The breakdown is out of nowhere, with a Miyako solo. Empty Daydream is aweome song. Frozen Seranade is incredible, a breakdow with Flamenco guitar, and keyboards. This is the opening song of the show.

Right of the bat, you noticed how much is going on even with the opening guitar riffs. They, like Band-maid, never fall back on the easy stuff--they put in whole layers of complexity that only musicians or music nerds will ever notice. It isn't needed, but it makes them so much more rewarding to listen to.

Always feel sorry for Haruna playing drums in the Sargent Pepper jacket. You can see for almost a second here and there, she struggles. It must of been of great relief that these jackets were only worn for the opening number for Haruna. Most likely for the rest of the Lovebites lady's. Your face says it all really, pure bliss.

Maybe you've heard of them already, but the band that spearheaded all this wave of japanese metal female bands is Babymetal. I encourage you to check...let's see, Ijime, Dame, Zettai at Sonisphere 2014 is pretty safe on Copyright. Check that one.

I've heard of them, sure, actually tried doing a video for them. Blocked. Edited it down. Blocked. I let YT take out the parts that were copyrighted...STILL blocked. So then I found a bunch of bands that APPRECIATE the exposure. They still don't let people like me make any money doing the reactions, but I'm trying to get people here to look at my original stuff and discover new music myself, not make money off them.
@Hadesillo3 жыл бұрын
Yes well everywhere there is a little scene, I even found one little metal scene in Beijing once while living there, but the interest trend that enabled this wave of japanese metal bands at international level started there. And that's sad to hear Ryan, sadly they are very picky with copyright. Still, that Ijime, Dame, Zettai I recommended should be safe if you still want to try it some day.
