Apparently, there are no solos at all in this song. Instead, as you may have noticed, we're blessed with awesome dual, harmonized leads from the very beginning to the very end of the song. Great reaction again guys. You got it right, this is their anthem to the Wolfpack fans. I'm going to see them at The Garage London England July 1st. I saw them at The Roadmenders 2019 Northampton England when they were support for Dragonforce, I had never heard of them before, they were superb and they blew me and my friends away, it's been a long wait to see them again. My absolute favorite band! This one isn't too heavy, but they close out many of their shows with this one. It's the unofficial anthem of the band and the fans. I love this performance. Lots of little details - the fist bump between Midori and Miyako, Miyako playing while watching Midori play, Asami's face on the piano, Asami and Fami greeting Haruna. My favorite thing though is how happy they all are and how heartfelt Asami is. This track closed their two-night comeback show after Miho left and they were away a while. The new bassist here is Fami, who joined about 18 months or so ago, though she was putting out MV's of her own bass work for a couple of years before she joined them (all on YT and there's some exceptional performances). Lovebites are - by quite a wide margin these days - one of the very, very best Metal bands on the planet. Have a look at FROZEN SERENADE to see Miyako on right hand lead guitar display her exceptional piano skills...and Asami, the lead singer, who used to be a ballerina, dance to a piano and Spanish acoustic guitar! Haruna on drums is just 4' 11" but is a giant on her kit.

Seeing them next Tuesday in Germany after seeing The Warning in April (incredible concert!). So looking forward to it. Going for their heavier stuff? Shadowmaker, Hammer of Wrath, Break the Wall, Holy Wars, Stand and Deliver come to mind. One very special song is Frozen Serenade - and for many it's their best. But in total you can just throw a dart at their catalogue and pick what you hit.

Thanks for your reaction. In the original catalog of LOVEBITES there is music of different genres: speed, thrash, progressive, power, neoclassical metal, a little symphonic metal and hard rock. At their concerts, LOVEBITES also play classical music (piano): F.Chopin, S.Rachmaninoff, N.Paganini-F.Liszt,etc. Ladies often mix different styles in one song. Thrash metal from LOVEBITES: 'M.D.O', 'Break the Wall', 'The Apocalypse', 'Thunder Vengeance', 'Paranoia', 'Dissonance', 'Winds of Transylvania', 'Set the World on Fire'. These Japanese women are extremely talented, skillful and outstanding musicians. Their live performances are fantastic. Their main influences are the great metal band of the past but they have been developing their own and unique style. Some people say that they’re breaking the walls of stereotypes in the metal scene. Asami used to sing R&B, soul and jazz before she joined the band. Miyako (black hair guitarist) is also a concert level classical pianist. Those twin lead guitar solos by Midori and Miyako are already legendary, in just seven years. They toured Asia and Europe in 2018 and 2019, including their successful presentation at Wacken Open Air, Germany, 2018. They also toured the UK in 2019, opening for Dragonforce. If you want heavy stuff, then I recommend “The hammer of wrath”, “Break the wall”, “Thunder vengeance”, “Winds of Transylvania”, “When destinies align”, “Above the Black Sea”, Holy war”, “MDO”, “Golden destination”, “Under the red sky” (all live)

What I like so much about "WE THE UNITED" is the almost unbridled happiness that this song radiates, the positive hope and simply the band's performance on stage. It's wonderful how Miyako shines, no, she's not a robot on the musical instruments, just a human, a woman, with almost unbelievable musical abilities - in thinking and playing. Midori, the other goddess of the guitars, it might seem, is also a woman, blessed with talents that she has developed over thousands and thousands of hours of training and practice to a level that only amazes most people. It's an unfair world, both in one band, the M&Ms of Lovebites. The Voice Asami, you would have had to look for her if Lovebites hadn't already found her! So unique through her musical and vocal background, the perfect singer for Lovebites through her personality and charisma. Given my preference for drummers, of course the drummer par excellence cannot be left out, Haruna, the little big engine of Lovebites and - for me - of the heavy metal world. The reserved, even shy, world-class musician from Shizuoka/Japan. No beat is too fast, no change that even once steals the knowing, slight smile from the corners of her mouth. She lays the foundation that the other band members build on with virtuosity, she is the incredibly strong support that the music needs in order to be able to develop into greatness - for me, the world-class drummer that Lovebites music basically needs and, incidentally, the co-founder of the band. The fantastic musician on the drum set, Haruna. On bass, the young Fami, in her early twenties and yet already a force in the world of bassists. A certain Sir James Paul (better known as Paul McCartney) is said to have once said about the bass musicians - he plays the instrument himself - that they are the deck workers who give the - hopefully solid - floor created by the drums the first polish so that it can shine. Ringo Star would have disagreed with that, I think! Back to Fami: I'm very excited to see how the band's youngster can and will develop in the coming years. The fact that Fami has followed in such huge footsteps that Miho left behind at Lovebites makes me hope that she will be able to achieve great things for the bassist world and for Lovebites. The wolf pack knows it, but for newcomers to the world of Lovebites and this genre of heavy metal: Time grins and whispers: oops, another year has passed - Birthday: April 5th, Miyako; May 28th, Midori; July 10th, Asami; (July 22nd, Miho), December 30th, Haruna and Fami, hmm, I don't know.

They have become one of my favorite bands as well, they are a fairly recent discovery for me, a couple of years maybe, together with for example Nemophila, Band-Maid, and The Warning. The first two are japanese, like Lovebites, the third is a trio of sisters from Mexico, TW and Band-Maid tend to be more hard rock than metal, still very good though, and they played together in Japan just the other day.

LOVEBITES is by far my favorite of the female japanese bands - there are many more as you have discovered but one that popped up last year is a newer entry and like LOVEBITES is another potential supergroup of musicians from previous girl's metal bands. they are EAST OF EDEN and are sensational. you should consider checking them out if they aren't on your list. they have an epic violinist to add to the mix. here is a link for their song 'evolve' : kzbin.info/www/bejne/nX2VeISNna-UhLM

So, you left us guessing what band is the new one. Let me guess - Hanabie? If you stay with in the same reactor group it has to be. It could be Babymetal and their new song Ratatata. I have not checked if you have looked at Babymetal yet. Its in another genre though. Ratatata is fantastic! We will see .... but if it is not Hanabie .... then you have to do Hanabie anyhow! We are familiar with Babymetal and electric callboy but we have not heard of this collaboration on purpose so we can react to it here so you can count on that one coming soon as well. Some excellent guesses btw ...stay tuned !

@@TJandTheGringa ha ha - I think you will not be dissatisfied with any of those! Japan is a treasure! We have the BAND-MAID and The Warning cooperation also. Its a bit debacle regarding a leaked fan video, but when that is solved, it should be fun. I can give you another hint - there is a band with three old guys called Ningen Isu. I would not miss that one.
