Rare, useful and refined content (important not to sound rude too) , especially "for learners of English who think they know English" but are really stuck at an intermediate or a "mediocre advanced level". Beautifully presented, at normal speed which helps our listening. I appreciate this lesson so much. I am a foreigner living in England and notice those expressions are really used by intelligent native speakers. I hope I can remember to use them, and I will pay more attention to this channel, I believe it can help anyone serious about improving their English. Thank you.

Needless to say Leila is "a dab hand at" teaching! I've been watching her tutorials for months, and i jolly appreciate her way to "dot the i's and cross the t's" in matters like grammar and whatnot. Love English with Leila and Sabrah "does exactly what it says on the tin"; so, if you crave to get off on the right foot, don't be worried: you have just reached the "gold standard".

All in all, losing my former job was a blessing in disguise for I got to start building my dream life short afterwards... Ever since then has my motto become the following idiomatic phrase and I truly stick to it: "every cloud has a silver lining and we must see our glass as being constantly half full rather than half empty" . I deeply believe in this as I reckon that shot doors might just lead to new challenges and opportunities.

This is what I’ve been waiting for and I’m not talking about the content, though it’s great, but what I would like to point out here is how the lesson is perfectly made. 👍🏻 First and foremost, the pace. It’s perfect! No rush. As an English language learner I need more time to get my head around the topic. I love enjoying lesson and memorise the most in the first go. It’s not as much important how many phrases you put in a video but how many of them eventually the receiver can uptake. I love when teachers not just recite phrases but act them. I wish your business partner Sabrah would temper her exuberant nature and stopped rushing through the examples like it was a speed race. 😉 The last but not least. The final expression that perfectly closes the video and you can come across it very often in UK is - Have a good one! 😊

Dear Leila and Sabrah , I know it may be off topic, but I can't recall the phrase or an idiom which signifies: to introduce unpopular or controversial point of view in conversation, in order to spice it up, make it lively, to ignite debates and so on.
